come on this thread is falling behind, it wasent even on the first page when i was lookin for it. is anyone around here getting the PS3 collector’s version of SF4 that would rather have the Viper figure then Ryu? because im getting the 360 version and id be more then willing to trade my viper figure for someone’s ryu.

depends on where in pdx do you live, then i can give you better points. I try to stay in and watch it at the house.
i would watch it at home too but its sooo expensive… going out to eat and saving 50 bucks is usally a good time. but i live near the marina in the downtown area, if that helps at all.

I’m a Vancouver guy. Not good enough to enter any serious competitions yet, but I’d like to be included in the Portland roster.
Presently, Street Fighter is my game of choice, but I’m working on rounding out my awareness. Still… it gets most of my game time.
I play a bit on Live if anyone feels an itch to add me for some HDR, SFIII, or GGX2. I will have SCIV (don’t lynch me), VF5, and, of course, SFIV in the near future.

alright ill try to be on thur.(i try to get on everyday for at least a little while) and no i dont have ggpo, only XBL atm and my gf has a ps2 i need to get some 2d fighters for that. and then ill need a converter >.< but a weekly tourney or somthing would be fun.
Done. I suck epic at 3S as I’m just now learning it… and having a hard time adapting to having to use the bumper buttons on my pad instead of the triggers doesn’t really help… but I’m excited about getting better.
I’m most likely to hit Live in the late afternoons (4:00-6:00PM) or mid evenings (9:30-11:30) on weekdays. Weekends are kinda whenever.

is this thread saposed to be replaced by your portland team thread Noz? if not lets keep this alive, the Team Portland Metro Roster thread might get a little flooded if we started posting things besides our gaming info in there. we should try to get both of these or at least the team thread stickied if thats possible.
I don’t see a need for two roster threads, but I do agree that the other thread needs to be kept clean. I don’t think SLCS has the mod powers necessary to remove the excess posts in the other thread, but we could remove our own posts once the data has been added in.
If we’re worried about thread/forum cleanliness, I would suggest we disregard this thread (since it’s labeled a roster thread). In the Team Portland thread, we only have one post per person that we just make edits to with whatever info we want the rest of the Portland peeps to see (such as which games we’re playing most right now, what gear we’re using, when we plan to hit up Ground Kontrol, that sorta thing).
We could, I suppose, add in another thread for Portland-specific game feedback. The “Get to know a negro” thread is already a general hangout for the NW. We don’t really need another for Portland people, but I suppose we could make use of a distinct thread for talking about matches with other locals. I guess.
I do second the whole “keep the Team Portland thread clean” thing for sure.
