Alright jin and Hawk, I sent the invites to the e-mail you guys sent me. Do note that a lot of us English speaking players are playing on Ship 2. The reason why I say this with urgency is because the character(s) that you make are locked onto the ship, or server, they’re made on, kind of like WoW I believe.
Oh and I ran out of invites, my last one went to somebody in the MM forums.
Also when you’ve downloaded and installed the Beta, be sure you download this English Patch as well, and copy the files inside it in Program Files/SEGA/PHANTASYSTARONLINE2/pso2_bin/data/win32
1)Can anyone help me translate this, do they want me to fill out something, create a username?
2)And even if I do, how do I get past that “are you a computer or not” generated thing, I have an American keyboard, do I just find a Japanese language pack and wing it?
This game is pretty neat so far, I just did the tutorial level and got off when I was on the ship.
Sucks that you get exp from the tutorial, I always enjoyed doing “Beat each zone at the lowest level possible” runs in PSO.
Needs more stuff translated…
Also, are there skill trees in the game now? I talked to some NPC and that stuff sure as hell looked like skill trees!
Character creator is fucking awesome.
Are there any ini tweaks to improve the looks even more?
Does skype or any other chat work with pso2 beta? Because in alpha the only thing my friend and I were able to work with was vent, and that was only if we tabbed over and it was the main focus. Pretty annoying if we wanted to talk at all.
