You have at least 5 different different follow ups to the cr.HP reset, and some of them look exactly the same… perhaps they just happen to be guessing right a lot or they’re just outplaying you/reading you like a book.
I most likely land it maybe 80% of the time. Which means there is still a 20% chance that my opponent blocks and I possibly land cornered.
If instead of this reset I can have a guaranteed ambiguous fake crossup which makes me land on the right side 100% of the time, I take it
80% is already pretty damn good. Theoretically speaking, you should never have a higher success rate than 50% (pure guess), unless you’re reading your opponent very well and/or you are mind fucking them/playing off their habits/etc.
If you’re worried about getting cornered so much, maybe just adjust your vortex to stay on the same side?
Also putting yourself in the corner is not the end of the world when you have huge frame advantage, and a super jump. Just look at how CViper usually escapes the corner so easily.
Emp Pro Tip #1- If you mess up your Ambiguous Fake Cross up, mash DP when you land! OnlineTony does it all the time and it works.

On a serious note, is there a trick or timing to these corner unblockables? I keep blocking the Akuma unblockables when I set the Ibuki dummy to play.
Made a video of Ibuki’s setups and her DWU counters (sweep, fwd throw, and mk Tsumuji included!)
