I was playing on supercade instead because I couldn’t even get on using lbc’s account. Oh woe is me.
Assuming that a lot of you watch Anime (I don’t). Who here has watched Perfect Blue? I heard that Black Swan completely ripped that film off.
Is it good?
Funny enough I just watched that recently. I haven’t seen black swan but I’d recommend perfect blue. It’s a mind bender but it doesn’t go too far into the mind to be considered anywhere near confusing or too convoluted that only certain people would be able to get any meaning from it. Though many people I know still don’t get it.
Watch One Piece. It’s a good anime!

Japanese super turbo players on GGPO are probably some of the greatest people on this planet
Also, Akuma in ST is really difficult. I was getting so close to beating him too!
Shout out to LBC for playing a few matches with me via GGPO. I didn’t really know what to expect from a regular at Don’s, but after playing things out with my Ibuki and every other character he had, and ending with a good 8-2 win ratio in my favor, I’m really excited to play the rest of you guys and level up in the coming Fridays!

And then there’s me. But I’m like Akuma in Super Turbo. You only get to play me if you get at least three perfects and end one round of your matches with a super. And you can’t continue. And then maybe I’ll pop out lol.
All this talk of 3S online makes me want to get another Astro City so that we can have two Astro City setups.

I’m supposed to travel out to San Fransisco for the 4th (leaving this Friday), but I do plan on being at your place the following Friday (I think that’s the 8th). I’m really excited about taking on Dander from what all LBC told me. He said I should fair well since I can deal with Shinshay to some degree. Despite that though, I think I’ll train up a bit harder to make sure I can at least take a round with absolute confidence in my play.
BTW, I know you mentioned that you have one Japanese setup, but how good are the other two 3s cabinets? My only concern are the type of gates they use since I can play on 4 gate fairly well, but never really used a bat stick or the 8 gate. I’m not too concerned about my execution on these things, per se, just your layout. =P

I just finished playing some street fighter alpha 3 on ggpo and I was playing against a guy player that didn’t really seem to wanna learn. I was winning, I suck as at the game. I was using Karin with my short short standing short xx dash punch thingies, anti air fierce to fierce as well. Well I kept winning and each time I won I wanted to leave the match and play against someone else and it dawned on me.
I don’t like winning, I like beating my opponent.
I hope that makes sense. Winning is for little kids that need an ego boost. I want to feel satisfied even if it’s only about my ability to out think an opponent.
