U should try your best to take Thursday and Monday off for travel. Get a room at the Rio (Check in Thurs/ Check out Sunday or Mon) and pack in 6-12 ppl. Whoever reserves the room should keep track of the room cost and make sure everyone pays ahead of time.

Yes you guys should try to do this. Going with a group to EVO is much more fun than trying to drive through the desert for five hours by yourself. On the way all of you can talk about strategy. And also once you guys are at your hotel room, setting up a console and have everyone play would be fun too. You could even have alcohol while you play lol. The more the merrier.
On this Daigo playing MVC3 note. I hope Daigo wins MVC3 though it’s highly unlikely. I like to keep the status quo in that Japanese players are always the best. The only reason why I want them to be the best is because Japan has the best arcade culture. Put it this way, if Japanese players place high for MVC3 in EVO then there will be a strong possibility that MVC3 will have an arcade machine.
