Even with just a few people there last night it’s still fun. Damn Dime…it’s like 50/50 now 
So how is Makoto in AE? I only played AE 3 times. I read she is top ten in the tier list. How is she different then in SSF4.
I also read that Viper is up there too.
What little I’ve read so far is that she plays a bit more like her 3rd Strike self. And EX Dash Punch breaking armor, something I remember bitching about that’s how it shoulda been in Super with you Don, plus ultra 2, the off the wall ultra, is stupid fast.
I’m probably gonna head out to AI or Round 1 some time this week after the MVC3 Hollywood event to get my hands nice and dirty with AE. :]

I just want to say with the return of Josh all is forgiven all around and we all have come full circle. This February we are now in the second year of Don’s Arcade. So for the first year yes I had drama with a lot of people but since it was the first year of getting to know everyone I think we worked out all the beef we had with each other and everything is fine. All communities have drama but I’m glad after the first year everyone worked everything out. I’m glad everyone is getting along now. We have a great community here with a lot of history now. And even though we had our differences it’s great that we all can move forward.
So it’s a new era in Don’s Arcade. The age of Marvel Vs Capcom 3 is upon us. Let’s have fun.
I hope I shall see a lot of you who are MIA return back soon. It’s going to be an exciting time again.

In any case, I hope your arcade keeps on going and that everyone as a whole levels up for all games, especially (for me) marvel 3! I’m looking forward to sharing and seeing what people come up with when that game comes around =D

I too also hope it keeps on going and with MVC3 I hope it becomes serious again and more people show up like they once did. Yes ever since AE came out my place slowed down. But fair enough, when SSF4 was just on console more people showed up to my place because they didn’t have an arcade machine for SSF4.
With MVC3 coming out hopefully it will get more crowded again. I myself don’t play MVC3 but I am a collector and I am purchasing two copies of the game. One for each system.
So like I said before, once MVC3 comes out, the new set up will be two set ups for MVC3 and two set ups for SSF4. I actually like having two set ups for each game because it tightens up the competition and if a lot of people come over again, I want people to wait in line to get a game. So I will be strongly enforcing arcade rules so that everyone gets to play.
If it works out this is going to be exciting because I want my place to have fierce competition again and I hope the less set ups of each game enables that.
We shall see…
When i have days off i’ll be sure to bring my evo setup to pare with ps3 and marvel. Can’t wait to level up at your arcade!

Fo sho bro. Thanks for the offer but I think the setups we have now is good enough. You don’t have to bring any. I want people to have fun but I also want it to be competitive. I always thought that when I was running 4 set ups of SSF4 it was too much because people in the room were not switching and playing each other enough. Don’t get me wrong I still want everyone to come over but I want the good players to have winning streaks with everyone in the whole room now and not just a part of it.
The goal for me is all about players to wait in line and prove themselves. I kind of want it to be like Regency when I use to go. Where there was a crowd waiting for the one MVC2 machine and there was a crowd waiting for the 3S machine. So two for each game should be more than enough. We’ll see if that can happen.

Hey it was great seeing you all again, my cammy was hella rusty in this past 6 months of inactivity, but with mvc3 coming up it will be a fun year.
I like the arcade idea but if mvc3 turns out as big as the ssfiv gatherings you told me about I wouldn’t mind contributing an additional setup, just thoughts for the future, and ggs on our ryu matches
And Don the game is new and different enough to not be branded as just marvel I think you should give it a chance ;p

Thank you for offering a additional set up but no thank you on an additional set up. I want to keep it as it is. And plus I don’t have any more room for console set ups. The other garage is for arcade machines only for I may have more machines coming in. I have plans for that space.
