Domestic use of UAVS? Yes or NO?

There seems to be this assumption that, if this is given the green light, you won’t be able to look up without seeing a drone circling your yard.

Is it okay to have these things fly around the mall parking lot just because? No.

Is it okay to use these to safely gather information on warranted grounds? Yes.

I’m cool with it as long as they get painted to look like Iron Man.

I don’t think it’s a bad thing, but I’ve heard retarded shit like using them as pre-cog’s to FIND crime before it happens. Police shouldn’t be allowed to use these unless it’s to actively look for a suspect (like they do with choppers now), rather than just flying over a zone to see if people are smoking pot or whatever.

I heard about devices in cities that detect gunshots, but they’ve been recording people’s conversation’s instead of gunshots, and cops then are able to arrest people based on those discussions.

I honestly don’t see why people are getting so worked up about this. The government already has unmanned satellites circling the earth with all manner of surveillance equipment. We have a plethora of manned aircraft that are also capable of intelligence gathering. Both of these things operate in warzones and in civilian sectors all the time.

Having things flying around over our head to gather information is nothing new. That ship sailed a long time ago.

As long as the drones aren’t breaking any privacy laws there’s not really a whole lot you can say about them. If you’re in a public place your actions and words said aloud are fair game for anyone who happens to be around.

A snowflake by itself won’t hurt you homies, but gather enough together and you have something that is pretty much unstoppable.

Your example falls cleanly within my statement.

And I never said it was a problem.

Yes, on terrorism. It’s already helped us. I posted awhile ago about UAVs all over Mexico, but international babysitting is a must too.

We have it so good in America

it seemed like you were attacking the fact that I had picked a specific example.
but anyway;
I made an argument as to why that may be a naive blanket statement.
but I guess we are just going to agree to disagree
