Doctor Doom Combo Thread V2

I found a real easy way. bukloop, the end j.m you fly cancel, wait a bit, then TAC. I was going 7/10 at one point. just was pointless to attempt then. Just need to make your loop low.

Umm you should upgrade your combos. Doom doesn’t require much execution so until you can learn the mazi loops here. They are not the easiest but you shouldn’t settle for less.
Midscreen, check the front page. They are there for a reason. Look through the thread only 3 pages and plenty of great combos.
As for corner I’ll give you mine its not that impressive damage wise but its simple enough and more damaging than what you are doing.
cr:l::m::h::s: sj :m: addf :m: hop up (dont jump ,just hold uf during the m) air :m::m: then footdie footdie. [st:h::s: sj:m::m: footdie footdie] x 2. :qcf::uf::h: :qcb::atk::atk: 800 k
If anyone can upgrade my combo that’d be dandy because I can’t do mazi’s loop 100% out of training mode.

Corner you want to avoid j.M as long as possible. You can do reps of S j.fH j.S addfast for two loops, then add the sj.M M stuff for the later reps. experiment on what gives more damage. I was at one point doing one rep fH S, then a bukloop, then the M M stuff. I forget what came out to more damage. It depended on the starter I think.

Nowadays I just mix whatever I feel like into a meter or two or three. Doom kills everything regardless.

Yes that height glitch triggers the actual TAC glitch, so yes Doom is capable of solo TAC infinites.

Edit: Adding to this it is also possible to set up the height glitch off the more advanced loops (Maziodyne).

Hey, any fellow Doom/Ammy players know a good combo to do off a THC? I like that it’s an almost instant fullscreen punish, but I can’t figure out how to get good damage off it.

Hey everyone. Just playing doom for shits and giggles, but I’m curious – whenever I’m trying to do the corner carry combos, (what I lovingly have come to call “the foot-foot-dive combo”) The j.S seems to whiff a decent amount of the time. I’m curious if you guys have any tricks to make sure it connects reliably?

Im having trouble do super after plasma beam during my down TAC combo.

Im doing
M M 6+H Dash M M(1) FLY M M Dash MM Dash MM Heavy Plasma beam

What works is if I do instead of H Plasma beam is

H M Heavy Plasma Beam super.

That ending I tend to drop either the M or they flip out before the Heavy beam hits.

Any help would be great.

after a tac (team areal combo) combo priority changes and allows you to do crazy things, even infinites

Max you’re going to get off a full on THC punish is about 600-700k, all you can really do after it is 2 footdive loops because the HSD is too high at that point. If you’re going to use it as a punish I would recommend popping the crack factor so you can TOD most of the cast at that point ( I think you get 3 reps instead of 2 if you pop XF2? Technically you can get 3 reps without factor but thats too risky. Not sure, but irrelevant, you’re killing just about anyone at that point )

The way I use Doom/Ammy THC is like this, in a scenario of my Doom Ammy vs 3 of their characters. If I get a grab, I pop X-factor, kill their character and probably build 3+ bars to use on THCs, if I don’t get a grab then I just XFGC my way out of the situation. On their incoming, you have to consider your meters, your XF time, do you have enough bars to do a THC as an incoming mixup, kill their character, and then manage to do another THC on their final character? If so, pop that THC and try to kill them right there with your XF as an entry mixup. If not, run whatever entry mixup you have with Doom/Ammy, theres like 6 different setups you can use.

But yeah Doom/Ammy THC is great, I know it sounds like I use it liberally, and I do, but thats because I run Zero as a battery. If you aren’t lucky enough to have that, you really need to consider your meter, as Doom/Ammy THC is like an ace in the hole for his counterpick matchups, and it shuts down teams who run and rely on Dark anchors.

Hey guys I am new the the thread and have been trying to do Dooms Buktooth Combo all week but they keep dropping out of the combo before the second relaunch. I have tried to doing the j. M as soon as possible however most of the time they are either too far away to get hit by the S or flip out before my launcher connects. Also I dont know if this happened to you guys when you first started using Doom but i keep getting his j. H instead of footdive, I practice with inputs on and it shows the foward before the j. H. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
