when i do buktooth its not how all the tutorials and shit say. i do 2 hits on all my j.M’s, it personally adds consistency to me and lets u kinda see urself instead of pure muscle memory cuz i dont have that in my muscle memory >.> usually just do it off a throw lol

So with the foot, footdive loop in the corner you can get 3 reps correct? But can you add a st.H > super at the end of the third rep or can you only do two loops in order to end with a super. Im having trouble with people falling out during the 3rd rep.

Lol new marlin tac. Pretty sure this is originally marlin’s haven’t seen doom face upload anything recently and nothing here so yeah. Safe to say its a new marlin midscreen tac gonna go to the lab.

He did it for the first time the night before in the Salty Suite. Lol @ Neo.

Can’t quite figure out how he does the backward forward thing, but I kinda have an idea. Need to put in more time in the lab…Unless someone can provide notations before I figure it out myself, lol.

And thing about marlin is that he never loses because everytime he swags out he’s winning in every way except the actual game. I should probably rephrase that but nah.

Yeah I didn’t know you could dash 4 times in flight mode (I’m noob I know sry).

Now I’m just having trouble with the height. I keep getting Doom too low, so he can’t air dash if he’s close to the ground.

The secret is on the combo before the TAC and the footdive mostly.

The combo before must be on the maximum height, and the version Marlin pie did is Corner starter only. For the mid screen starter, the difference is that at the beggining u have to do j.LL j>M(1hit) j.M(1hit), plasmabeam.L and then u are good. Btw, I think with the amaterasu side TAC is kinda easyer cause I have a feeling that it send the enemy kinda higher then normal, but it is possible to do with others (tested starting with zero).

The Foot dive u must hit the earliest moment possible, then the airdash M (right after the footdive) must be really fast as well, and then the Fly with j.M 2 hits u must make it really slow (kinda). U have to wait the 2 hits to happen and then do the ADDF M 1 hit and then u are on the right height for the forward and backwards airdash.

I think its about it. 2 hours on training and This stuff is pretty consistent… but I have to say that the one who came up with this combo… is really sick…to cpme up that heigh control is just insane -__-

It’s actually j. L L j. M**(2)** j. M(1) in the beginning.

I’m mainly having problems with this part of the combo (bolded): flight > j.M > ADDF > j. M(1) > ADB

Issues

  • whiffing j. M(1) after the ADDF.
  • hit j. M(1) but ADB doesn’t come out because i do it too late or get too close to the ground.
  • character is too high to connect the j. L L M after the ADB.

I think the key to finishing this combo for me is the j. M > ADDF after activating flight. There’s a timing issue there that I’ll need to work on.

Also, I’m wondering if you can finish it with an H molecular shield into sphere flame, instead of blowing 3 meters.

Well anyway, practicing this got me thinking. I already know how to do all 3 variations of the corner TAC. Is there any real point to learning the midscreen TAC? I’m always trying to get the enemy into a corner, so it wouldn’t be beneficial for me to let them out of it, just to attempt to be extra flashy, and risk dropping the combo. This is just IMO though.

So I wasn’t talking about the marlin pie version, that was the corner starter one, I was talking about the variation u have to do on the midscreen starter =). Since the wall is farther, the bounce on the wall will have a different effect, but the correction u need to do is minimum, but it is needed.

  • the problem here is that u have to wait a little more before doing the ADDF, j.M(1) after flight, if u do too quickly, it will miss.

  • the airdash not coming out probably is the height problem. U have to correct the the height of the combo before the TAC and perfect the timing of the footdive and the j.M(1hit) after the footdive.

  • if in this situation is too high to connect the j.LLM, its cause u are doing ADF ADB too quickly, u have to do a little more slowly. Just a little =).

U can. Actually I only was able to do L molecular shield. Actually u can even do sphoere flame without the molecular shield and I was able once to do the molecular shield xx lvl 3. For sphere flame it is worth it, but to do a lvl 3, I think the difficulty is not worth.

Atually there should be some times that u get a random hit and u hardly can move on the air to correct the combo and u have to do a tac midscreen… On The long run I think it would make a difference.

What is the M&Ms combo? I hear it all the time and i assume it’s just a slew of j.Ms but for reference can someone post it?

Has anyone transcribed the reverse corner combo(s)? If not, I’ll share (someone with recording equipment feel free to make a video). I’ve only seen Marlinpie and DrDoomKills use it.

I’m having trouble doing the double footdive loops midscreen (f+H then S and airdashing down and relaunching), I can do it in the corner fine but midscreen the S footdive always whiffs because the opponent is pushed too far away.
