for every gief player that tries to tick this noob will be met by a DP reversal. :lovin:
Haha, I am one of those players who started off learning against the CPU. I do hope they tone down the difficulty or at least use the Japanese ST CPU which was easier. That should help the noobs get the hang of the game.
Get over yourselves, people. Noobs will keep playing the game no matter how hard you destroy them.
Noobs will definitely drop SFHD because the game doesn’t have Mitsurugi!
^ yeah, i dont think theres a character in SFHD whose dominant strategy is just ‘press buttons’
imo you could switch every instance of SFHD in this thread with SF4 without any loss of generality
ive always wondered if people actually practiced against the AI in ST. i mean nowadays the AI doesnt do that much so you can practice combos and stuff on an opponent thats “sort of” trying not to get hit, but i cant imagine that being too successful against the ST AI.
Of course they will play: they can choose Akuma now!!
Its okay for practicing safe jumps because the AI always reversals.
it won’t be like ST cuz he still has a whiff animation, so he can’t option select with negative edge and get that stupid trap, he’ll have to guess right every time to keep it going.
You mean ALL of the comments…:looney::looney::looney::mad:
That is the reason why they should just have an interface with different rooms.
There should be a beginner’s room, an intermediate room, and an expert/advance room. When you play online chess, many sites have rooms structured in that way. There will be some overlapping, but not as bad as if the room don’t exist at all.
Truth be told, I think it’ll be a happy mix of everyone till Feb then ONLY die hard ST players will still be around.
Pretty much like that with most online games.
Actually I think he’s getting at SF4’s release date.
Im new to to ST and am looking to play SFHD. I found the brutal AI in ST to be more of a reason to play it. That stuff is addicting. I have trouble even beating it on the easiest setting hah.
People will not sort themselves correctly. Some asshole from here would rape noobs, some noobs would think they’re Justin Wong, and some really good player would only think he’s intermediate due to humility.
What’s the point of that? Pulverising someone who doesn’t know the game very well isn’t much fun for me, it’s boring. Seriously, what’s the point? Isn’t it more fun to fight someone who’s better than you, for the challenge?
I’m a ST noob and I am totally hype about this game. All I can do is :qcf::hp: in corner with Ryu right now, but I’d prefer to learn Dhalsim, I think
