I hear you. I had to get fired to shake things up, then I went wandering around asia for the better part of a year.
Cheers brother.
Where’s the SRK version with at least one penis per page?
This has TONS of potential, really like what I’m seeing so far!
It really speaks to how much everybody is digging the project that GD is not immediately going in on you.
Props.
Thanks guys. I just have to say that my friend Andrew Dorland (the artist) is responsible for about 94% of the effort on this thing. I added dialogue after he laid out the story. So I’ll take a taste of your props and pass them his way.
Contribute $3000 to the kickstarter and we’ll slap dicks all over it.
Sounds like my 12th birthday party.
I really dont get the thread title…
I dont donate to Kickstarters, but good luck on the project regardless. Takes balls to put yourself out there.
It’s really strong work dude.
This looks fucking cool! Great job and lots of luck getting things off the ground, man.

Hmm… well, on reflection, I don’t quite get it either.
I asked ‘Do you hate your job?’ because it is a book about a guy who hates his job, so I thought people might relate to the story if they also hated their jobs.
I asked ‘Do you love comics?’ because it is a comic book.
Okay I get it now.

Thanks guys.
Will you release before Mighty No. 9?
Yes!
lemme know if you need a colorist.
The art looks fantastic and it’s an interesting premise, will there be a US release?
maxx–do you have an online portfolio?
hawky316–thanks… we don’t have a publisher yet. So far the kickstarter is the only way to get the book, but we’re looking at the digital comic platforms right now. If we make our goal we’ll get it printed and probably go to a few comic conventions. Getting books into stores without a publisher is tricky, as Diamond Distributors pretty much has a monopoly on that process. Everything goes through Diamond, and the retailers have to order your books from their catalog, unless you go door to door peddling them.
Joshkaz–shill away!
