I guess Urien and Sodom would bring more variety to the roster, rather than Rolento (have Ibuki and Elf) or Sean (hello shotos).

I’d actually lean more towards Alex and Karin as to further tie the Alpha with the SFIII.
If I could pick just one character to be in future DLC it would be Alex.
To be honest I can only see 3 characters at most being added to the DLC patch/arcade version.
Well they did add 10 new characters, stages and etc for SSF4 and it was priced at $40. 3 characters may sound reasonable but they might just add more. I see a DLC for maybe $20.
For characters I would want Alex, Charlie, Poison, Haggar, Elena, and perhaps Hugo. I can’t see Poison being in the game without Hugo, but not vice versa.
i’d like to see alex, hugo, and a working version of makoto. lol.

yeah yang ftw! or yun… or both? rolento would be good too… i really liked remy in 3rd strike… but he played really similarly to guile so i don’t think is style would add anything to the game…elena would be good too and sodom! what about ex characters in sf4? skullomania anybody?! you know d.dark would be bad ass in 4!!

Id have 4 out of the following 5, Yun, Yang, Remy, Elena, Hugo. I figure Vanilla had 4 Alpha characters and SF3 had none so were due some payback. Possibly drop Remmy as we already have Guile and Deejay, or Yun as he’s already been in CvS2, CFJ and made Cameo’s in SFA3 MAX on the PSP and Double Upper on the GBA so people know who he is. Id l;eave the characters that most 3s haters considered weird out for obvious reasons, and Alex, partially for the same reasons as Yun (been in CFJ and TVC) that and he might steel some of Abel’s fire as the hero of this installment.
Only one fighter I wouldnt mind playing again not added to the roster. Kairi from Street Fighter EX@. Rather his verison from part one though rather than the akuma version they made him out to be in the sequels…
I find it funny that within 2 weeks of SFIV, we had a SFIVCE ideas thread, and within 2 weeks of SSFIV, we have a SSFIVT ideas thread…

Well, Alex is not different enough from Abel, and the same could be said for Charlie/Guile and Haggar/Zangief. You have a point with Elena though.
And WTF with people asking for Evil Ryu. You have over 50 great characters to choose from, and you want another indistinguishable shoto?
