Just like when you take your car to the mechanic, it’s not the parts that kill you, it’s the labour. As ifbpwnstar already explained to you, it’s a small thing that could cause HitBox huge problems during assembly; especially since it’s not something that is a part of their normal routine like it is for say Qanba. If you are able to buy the HitBox and mod in the mic jack yourself, that’s the best way to go. For me, I use Bluetooth for everything so mic jacks aren’t a concern for me :wink:

Also, the HitBox guys have their own thread here called “HitBox: We So S Tier”. You can post there and one of the guys that would make your Box (most likely Brian Husser himself) will respond to any comments/questions you may have.

i see no way that putting a cable that is designed to fit on the ps360+ with no effort would cause any problem lol i guess drilling a hole in the box is their issue, or maybe that fact the mount the pcb with glue is?

Or maybe their production area and production schedule can’t accommodate any custom orders.
Its why the big name Stick builders charge as much as $500 for a custom stick.

You can try to do is order the basic PS3 stick and have it modded with the PS30+ and Mic port.

The PS3 version of the HitBox is the regular Hit Box, the mutli-console version was released recently with the release of the PS360+.
Please assume all the open ports of your PCB might be covered in thick and nasty glue. A PS360+ from inside a Hit Box might not be salvageable enough to add a mic port.

For all the cost and hassle, you might be better off with a wireless headset.

You also don’t do this for a living. Being a hobbyist, you have the luxury of working on your own schedule with your own parameters and work orders. A group like the HitBox team doesn’t always have that luxury. Actually, for HitBox specifically, they have more orders than their stock can keep up with so they also have to keep their customers happy and not make them wait for 6 months for thier order.
