Alas, it was. But it’s on a Thursday. I think a bigger draw would appear on the weekend, not a Thursday. If you fools go to this, more power to you, but I think I’m gonna have to end up throwing one at FF now on the 30th. Just be ready, cause I’mma post that shit soon.
sigh, is there any other venue we can hold the tournament at. i know NOBODY in so cal (who is going to ecc) wants to drive 200 miles to ffa to play on terrible sticks.
what about psm? or, since you said that movie theatre has good sticks, we just all show up there and do a tournament with just the people going to ecc. i’m sure all of us value a spot in the invitational a lot more than some cheesy 60 dollar first prize so we wouldn’t need an entry fee.

also, because this tournament is mainly for those going to ecc we don’t have to cater to the entire so cal scene, just those who are going to ecc. and from what i gather, there aren’t that many of us making the trip, for marvel at least.

Peter: there are two other tournies happening from now til ECC: Powerstation and Regency. I wouldn’t trust the sticks of regency for a qualifier like this. But if they get them back up to par, i was thinkin we can use the small machine on the side to run the qualifier simultaneously with the normal marvel tournament.
PSM is kind of far for me, but if need be, i wouldn’t mind going there cuz the sticks are fine.
Cal poly is also cool with me.
I don’t mind FF sticks on the better days, but the location is anything but central for a lot of guys goin to ECC.
The movie theatre i haven’t seen, but i’m open to that too if the sticks are good.
