Yeah I realize this I was just wondering in regards to basic combos. As I said I do intend to fully learn the character as best I can it was just a random inquiry of sorts. I do appreciate the quick responses though.
Her “best” super basic combo is literally xxx,H,2H,4H,S, SJC B,B,H,S dash up 623A. A bit of a lack luster yeah? I guess you can also get a bit more advanced with
xxx ,H,2H,4H,S SJC,H 236B, H,4H, S,SJC B,B,H,S dash up 623A.
I dunno why you would do those though when her easiest BNB combo only has one feral cancel in it anyways.
I’m learning the cancels anyway I was mostly just asking, I’ve actually been trying to learn the BnB you posted a few posts up.
I found out what they nerfed about her level 3, she can’t wave dash in it anymore.
I had no idea she could wave dash during her level 3. Was it the same kind of wave dash she has outside of level 3?
Is that all they nerfed? Is her chip damage loop still there? Her infinite?

Alright been working on your FC xx H combo pulsr and came up with one that carries the opponent to the corner and does slightly more damage before hyper. Main problem though is it doesn’t build 1 bar of meter, only 2/3 - 3/4 of a bar. They really nerfed meter building in this game.

This does 493,000 damage. It can start from cmd grab, light punch or jump in :h: or :s:. You can end it with whatever your favorite way to otg into is (i.e. doom missles, :dp:+:l:, etc.).
If there’s any trouble with linking :d::d:+:s: xx :h: xx :d::d:+:s: xx , just hold
and it’ll auto link for you.
I run Jill/Frank/Strider, and used to think that vajira did absoluetely nothing for jill, till i realized you can link Jill’s Double Knee Drop M and H with it.
So far, I’m still labbing it out, but I think I can incorporate it into a regular BnB for some HUGE damage. Looking at 700k+ from one bar potential here without a OTG’d assist.
Just a random note, you can also link double kneedrop in the corner with Kamakize (Hawkeye up arrows).

Just found out Jill can get a second super off of drones in the corner now or I just never got it to work in vanilla.
Double Hypering you mean? Yeah, she can get it off Chun (used to do it all the itme in vanilla), Dante, Doom (really strict timing),etc.
Yeah, I knew about doom and dante from Flying Ve’s video but I think sentinel didn’t work in vanilla. Now it does and she might be able to do more off of it.
To be honest, as cools as that looks… a DHC is better 99% of the time.
Honestly, now that Assists are incorporated into Hitstun Decay, I’m not sure of all the options it could open up besides the regular Arrow kick–> Double kneedrop shenanigans. Also, usually DHC’s give more damage.
It’s kinda sad that due to HSD, Chun’s lightning legs isn’t that great and doesn’t help Jill =/

I’ve been bouncing back and forth between Hawkeye and Dante for my middle slot. I think Dante (weasel) is the better choice overall, but I’m still learning Hawkeye, so the comparison isn’t fair yet.

What do you guys think about Frank and Jill? If your opponent gets hit or blocks the Cart assist, use jill’s F+H into a full combo for a neat unblockable.
Cart is really good for Jill, and you can get Frank to lvl 4 on 0 bars without using lvl1 fank.
However, I don’t think Frank gets much from Jill, and to be honest, lvl4/5 Frank is pretty underwhelming. Also, the way that the cart pushes them forward can sometimes be annoying.
I use a Zoner-ish Frank, with Zombies being my main aspect. When using Frank at level 4/5 I usually just throw Zombies and use jill as a push back assist then follow up with a Zombie H into another Zombie Throw L. By this point, they have either blocked or got hit by the zombie throw, and have to deal with the walking zombie. giving me a chance to throw ANOTHER one. Can’t forget about his F+H throw as well.
And during ALL of this, Im getting closing the distance between the two of us. Course, I use Zombie throw L to make everything safe as well. I also use Strider, so it’s really zoning based.

The Strider into Arrow Kick is EXTREMELY strict, but as soon as you get the timing right, it’s not that bad.
Combo 2: j.HS,s.M,H,2H,4H,22S,Sum.Salt,j.HS,j.MMHS,MMH,CALL STRIDER, S, TK Double Knee Drop, Arrow Kick,S (gives hard knockdown), OTG assist, Fallen Prey, Raven Kick.
With Frank, you can DHC after raven kick into his survival Techniques and take a picture after the whiff for insta 3.
