I’m surprised no mention of it on the first post, I find it builds a lot of meter and has strong damage.

I’m pretty sure trag is going to break 700k before me, but this is what I got so far haha. Anyways, I learned something pretty interesting, Her somersault is jump cancelable so you can actually tigerknee it into the arrow and it allows you enough time to dash across the screen and combo off of it.

can you do DP M while in corner? or are you looking specifically for non corner damage?
at the very least without the hyper or corner you could DP M, DP L for heavy no meter damage

I’d like to confirm that this is the highest damage universal assist bnb not using Feral Crouch cancelling (easy to do and does respectable damage). Unlike :d:+:l:, :d:+:m:, :h:, :d:+:h:, :b:+:h: this bnb also works on short characters (curse you Ammy/Arthur/Joe) in the corner. This bnb also starts with a 4 frame attack so if you are playing online this is the one to do every time. Although, there’s no real reason to do :qcf:+:atk::atk: instead of :dp:+:atk::atk:. The first variant usually does 600,000+ depending on the character, but the cancel is fairly tight and sometimes it does about 585,000. Doing :l:, :m:, :h:, :b:+:h:, :qcf:+:l:, fc :l:, :qcf:+:m:, fc :h:, JC, j.:h:, j.:s:, :h:, :s:, j.:m:, j.:m:, j.:h:, j.:s:, :a1: (Low Shot), :qcf:+:l:, :dp:+:atk::atk: does 589,300

Assist-less :l:, :m:, :h:, :b:+:h:, :qcf:+:l:, fc :l:, :qcf:+:m:, fc :h:, JC, j.:h:, j.:s:, :h:, :qcf:+:l:, :dp:+:atk::atk: does 513,900, do this is you have no OTG assist but have a character for DHC reset glitch.

However, there’s one problem, st. :l: has trouble connceting against crouching Ammy, and Morrigan, you have to be REALLY close for it to connect, and worse, :b:+:h: doesn’t connect against crouching Joe after any normal because of his reel hitbox at all. Standing :m: can also whiff on all three randomly. So really, just do :d:+:l:, :d:+:m:, :d:+:h:, :b:+:h:, on them instead.

I use a similar combo with Wesker, only I prefer using Jill Arrow Kick assist, usually it allows for a full Phantom Dance juggle (on the way to the left and on the way to the right) at the end. Total 3 meter combo does close to 1,200,000 damage. I’m still working on finding maximum damage though.

For standard size characters [Ryu, She-Hulk, Skrull etc types].

[Corner] j.:h:, :h:,:d::h:,:b::h:, Arrow Kick, [delay] j.:s:, :h:,:d::h:,:b::h:, Flip Kick, Feral Stance :l:, :s:, sj.:m:, sj.:m:, sj.:h:, sj.:s:, OTG Fallen Prey. 500k~

You may have to change the part where you land on smaller characters because the :d::h: may miss on them. Also for some reason Arrow Kick, you can’t follow anything with it against Sentinel. She doesn’t have enough horizontal reach on any of her attacks. :wtf:

You can also change out Fallen Prey for an OTG assist into her Raven Spike for some juicy DHC glitch damage. I do it with Wesker to basically KO an opponent. I don’t recall how much this combo builds.

Yeah man, I’ve been having trouble finding a comfortable approach of getting in with Jill. I feel like if I don’t have Sent Drones I’m clueless.

Also, Sent’s cr.H will randomly whiff on crouching Jill I found out.

I found out about this on Friday. The idea of using QCFs to buffer the input is a smart idea. I wouldn’t call this a wavedash though. This’ll probably be a big part of Jill’s footsies.

Yea, that’s why I put the quotes around wavedash, it’s a loose term. I definitely want to see someone take full advantage of all her options. Problem is why bother with Jill when 3/4 of the cast can net similar or better results a lot easier. I’ll stick with her though. I just need to actually play the game and not make combos in between homework assignments :rofl:

Because she’s fun. I’m also too used to having to work for my damage so Jill is natural to me in this aspect. Besides, we might have the deepest character on the roster. Imagine all the respect (or hate) you’d get for being good for her.

So, I just got Jill, and one of the first things I try with any character is seeing what I can cancel jump cancelable moves into in their prejump frames. I didn’t see anyone mention this, but you can cancel Somersault Kick into Flip Kick and it will usually hit unless you are too far away. Sometimes you can even hit with another Somersault Kick after that, too, so combos that end with Somersault Kick into Machine-Gun Spray might benefit from this. You can connect Arrow Kick, Cartwheel Kick, or Ensnarement that way, too, without even needing to Feral cancel. Just press up at the same time you press your button.

Oh come on, you might as well play with Sentinel if you think like that. She’s not even that hard, she just has a ton of combo potential, kinda like Dante who has two million combos, but people only use like five in actual matches. If you wan’t to win, a simple combo (like the one kataridragon mentioned above) into Raven Spike with DHC glitch will do the job, it is as easy as it gets. Having a ton of special moves is just an added bonus.

Must say that I am loving messing around with the DHC trick with her. Messing around in the corner with Jill/Joe (Shocking Pink) was hilarious.
