I was gonna pick this game up on day one, but things came up as they always seem to, so right now I could buy it and not have enough time to play it, so that’s no fun for me. Right now I’m looking to pick it up next week. Don’t worry, I have a good spot where I pick up my games. They always have everything weeks after it comes out unlike the gayness that is EB/Gamestop NYC. Shoot, I got Draqon Quest VIII a week late when EB and Gamestop didn’t have jack squat. They either pre-order more copies of the games they recieve, get to few copies (3 copies? Are you kidding me?) or just get stuff later than the release date.

Awesome ,I just found out how to play the japanese version of Samurai Shodown 5.All you have to do is change the language to japanese under your xbox settings as stated in the manual on page 3.This changes the ingame spoken language as well,so if you hate the American announcer do this to get the japanese announcer.

Good games earlier. I suck at this game. 
I picked up mine Thurs so I’ll be on-line tonite hopefully. I played it last night in training and it seems like a great port so I’m really excited about some on-line comp so get this game and play people!

Yeah, I fought some Mina whorers last night, and they were kicking my ass… for about five seconds. Their patterns were so obvious… it was sad. And they didn’t even know her specials. I mean, Mina has a Get Out of Jail Free with dp + S and they just… don’t use it. Sad. After that, I pick Mina to show them how it’s done, and then quit.
For god’s sake, there are more broken characters. Yunfei aka Boy Storm. Yoshi is nerfed but still good.

Ok guys,i havent played samurai showdown since,like the original. SS1 in the arcade and on SNES… I’m a SF3 whore now, but i dont mind shell’n out 30$ for a decent online fighting game.
My question is for other SF3 whore’s, how is the Lag compared to SF3?? Guilty GEar is obviulsy shitty as fuck when it come to Lag… Sf3 i cant complain… But how is the lag on this game?? because me buying this game would just be for xbl play…

Everyone I’ve played, the connection has been pretty damn good. I didn’t notice much difference going from practice mode to online.

the other day someone dropped on me and i got this message…or somthing simillar
“the opponent has disconnected from the match, you win” you win!..droppers loose!? i get a free win from droppers!? this is the coolest feature in any online fighter ever lol
dropping will be much less annoying when they drop…and probably jsut not drop
more people should use the lobby in this game…like svc its the only way worth playing, espessially if you care about your ranking (when u win or loose u just go back to the lobby and can play again real fast…but still get your wins unlike when u rematch in optimatch)

Seeing as how this is only my 5th or 6th Samurai Showdown match ever…I don’t have a clue on how to deal with his invincibility shit.
In short…if you can’t turn the bosses off on an online fighting game…it’s bullshit.
i Duno, i bought this game on fiday… played a bit, and foud that its just not doing anything for me… The gameplay is’nt deep enough,and its just crusty. Kool characters though, but ithink i just gonna return this shit and get a SF3 6 button controller. Mehh…
I got it on friday, onoly 2 copies at the store! Im a huge SS4 fan. So far SS5 is alright, i still need to learn all the new stuff and remember what I used to know from SS4. I have SS4 on Saturn. I do miss the bust and slash option. Anyone wants to fight me, my gamertag is Projectjustice.
Yeah, I thought it was cool at first. Than 3 days later I didn’t really care anymore. That, and the people on it all drop before the match even starts so you get the loss. I sat there for an hour trying to get a match and they all dropped. Not worth the time.

SS4 was better ino, thats slash and burst thing was kool… But i feel like the series has lost a couple frames of animation since SS1, but thats prolly just my warped perception…what like… 14-15 years ago…
