Great expression and anatomy. I’m a fan of elongated torsos and I really like how you emphasized his. Your drawings have a lot of life and personality…definitely one of your strongest assets.
I don’t know if you’ve ever seen the Animatrix, but there is a section called “a kids story” and your artwork immediately reminded me of it.
Really great stuff!. I would like to see some of your sketches colorized differently, not that there is anything wrong with your style, but you should try to incorporate more gradients. I would love to see your style of sketching complimented by some really detailed painting to really give it a nice contrast.
Cant wait to see more!
Rockstedy666: Thanks man, I tried adding in more detail this time when coloring so wasn’t sure if the result was for better or for worse.
shubacca: Another fan of elongated torsos eh? I got criticized on another forum for this, glad I’m not alone.
Dr.Spr0cter: Really? I saw that a few years back, will rewatch it again.
I’d love to oblige with the detail but I’m not quite there yet skill wise hehe, working on though so hopefully soon fingers crossed.
looks dope man. The elongated torso isn’t much of a deal to me as the missing ribcage definition below the pecs and the rib muscles (I forgot what these are called). BUt great pose, great expression, and solid colors.
Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind for next time.
i wanna see a axl-low pic or a zappa pic
Just finished designing/drawing three characters and figured I’d share. I will be making use of them in the future throughout various pics, hopefully developing character and making them more memorable for ppl in the process.
(Posted in the order they were done)

love the over exaggerated poses! makes me rethink the way i draw my figures
<3 the Evi one!
a lot of your drawing remind me of ash crimson you should draw him next
nice work
You got my respect. I love those poses man
Thanks for the kind words guys, appreciate it.
Dunno man, your work is already fantastic.
The next one will have all three of the above characters in one pic, already in the midst of drawing it.
I’ll keep Ash in mind though so you can be sure to see him once I get a good idea for him.
A new pic using all of the three characters above, they try their hand at some sports:
Next I will prolly be introducing another character or two, want to increase the roster a little for variation and fun purposes.
great pose by Evi!
Man I really love your style and Mudman is my favorite one so far. I’d like to see either Dhalsim or Hsien-Ko done in your style.
Glad you like, she gave me quite a bit of trouble
Thanks man.
It has been forever since I did fanart so sure why not, I’ll put what I wanted to do next on hold and work on a piece of one of the characters you mentioned so stay tuned.
Haven’t seen this thread before, but after looking through some of the pages, I recognized your work instantly when I saw the charlotte pic!
It was on Racketboy’s most stunning samurai showdown artwork!

You have a really unique style, with your use of posing, curves and colors. Its like peter chung infused falcoon (saying that as a compliment since both artists are some of my favorites) but its not as exaggerated, with your style being alot more grounded for character. Its really hard to put it where it is, cause its all DIAVLE. If its anything I’d want the most with art, it is the dream to have my own “personal style” someday, and it seems you’ve acquired yours early on. Your colors and lines seem to have gotten alot cleaner than they were before, but theres that consistency there that still says its YOU.
Just wanna say that its really refreshing to see something like this. Especially since its been documented here on SRK, like a time capsule of a great gallery getting even better over the years. Amazing work, its great to know that you’re at it and I hope to see more in the future.
i 100% agree with chowz. your confidence in your lines really shows in your figures. keep it up!
that SamSho artwork is off the charts!
Whoa, so much niceness in one post that I’m not sure how to respond.
Really appreciate the kind words and am very happy that you like my work. Didn’t know that I had the honor of having my work featured on that site so thanks for posting about that
Thanks very much, really.
Thanks bro, let us keep fighting the good fight.
