Not really trying to promote TO over Linh’s, but to me the tourney Linh is about to run is more of a local though than a regional. I just think if TO is done right it’s just a better place for everyone to meet up and have a big regional every ~3 months. I don’t know what the deal with the A-Kon garbage is, I think that was Morris’ idea, but ice and frank are thinking of not doing TO anymore and that kinda sucks to me because it has potential.
There have been pretty good regional tournies at Linh’s arcade before too so I don’t mind either way, but I think TO will get the most people and be more enjoyable for people who have to travel. Sucks when abunch of people from Houston come and are like “There’s more Houston people here than Dallas!”
I see what jake is saying. I’d hate to come down there and its just 8 or 9 people at the tourney. If TO is just the next weekend away i’ll wait for it. I was feeling this tourney though simply because its catering to the 2d scene and not all about tekken. And since everyone I roll with play nothing but 3d its best that I wait till TO. But its not set in stone, I still might show up.
lol now hold up, see if you make TO big, you’ll get new people like Suavion, perfect example. He was at the last one, and he entered all 3 - marvel, cvs2 and 3s and he originally came there for 3d I think. He wouldn’t have really came I don’t think if it was just a tourney at Linh’s arcade. It’s not like he said he wasn’t going, he is going to go to one or the other, this is what I’m trying to say. If TO is better suited for people to travel to than Linh’s then it’d be better to have everyone all go to that one, that’s all I’m saying.
Peeps should try to go to both…but if u cant, just go to Lihns tourney.
Reason I say this is cause Lihns already got a rep for hostin, plus we already generaly know what to expect from them…and hes the homeboy. Not tryin to say A-kon/T.O. wouldnt be tight, but i heard through the grapevine even u jake called Anime Mitsuri, Anime Shitsuri. Cons and Tourneys seems like oil and water.
Plus, that fool Frank and I.C.e havent been informing SRK on the next T.O… I totally forgot it was a series!!!

p.s. Why not take out 3s singles or teams, and just do a slash tourney or XI??? Shit, all we do usualy is play 3s in casual city, only recently have we mixed it up…
It’s not necessarily gonna be at akon. If it is and it costs like 30 bucks to get in just to go to a tourney then yeah forget it, but I don’t think it’ll be that way, we’ll see. Still got plenty of time.

Well tie, if you would take the time to properly read threads, u’d notice Zeros 1st post stated the games he wanted: VF5 & XI, 2 fine choices if u ask me…
Also, take into consideration that Casual City has descent amount of players for games other then 3s…mainly Guilty Gear…
are yall crazy or something? yall gotta stop complaining and be happy that we even have a damn tournament. the reason why we dont have slash tourney is because i know its gonna be a low ass turnout, plus why make a it a tourney when AC is about to come out.
yeah jake is right… kons and tourneys dont mix… the only tourneys that happen at akon are akon tourneys… usually a BIG ggxx one… i mean its ALWAYS big cuz all the random people are all there… and naruto stuff…
and i think we should ditch one of the 3s tourneys and play a GGXX one. and even tho AC is around the corner why not have one last slash tourney to top it off.
cuz i dont play 3s anymore… ill only put in my 1 dollar to for ranbats to pitch in and what not.
