I almost thought you were quoting Capcom when they were making excuses as to why SFxT didn’t sell well.
While it is true that some people overreacted to the original DmC trailer and said some pretty mean things, that DOES NOT give Capcom and NT the right to bash consumers or even potential consumers. They needed to act professional and they failed horribly. No matter what irrational haters might say, you just have to ignore it and promote your product in a positive light. By responding to “haters” in a negative way, you’re only feeding them ammo to hate you more. Not a good look. To be honest, if I was Capcom I would’ve fired Alex Jones after DmC came out or demoted his ass.

yeah i’m on my second play through as well(on Son of Sparda) and i did the same thign haha.
So far the only thing about this game that has bothered me is the “surprise twist” ending.
Oh well people will be mad i suppose…

This ties in with Ninja Theory’s complex storytelling, since the whole game is about not trusting the establishment.
While looking to reviews from the establishment to validate your work?
Yea but the cool thing about Tarantino is that he can make a scene FEEL violent without it actually having to resort to gore for the effect. Kill Bill is one of the few movies he’s done with excessive amounts of violence (have not seen Django yet). The scene of Marvin getting shot in the face in Pulp Fiction is the goriest scene in that movie, but what sticks with you is the sudden, unexpectedness or him getting shot in the face, and less the window splatter.Same for the shootout in Inglorious Basterds in the basement bar. It’s over as quick as it begins and isn’t very excessive, but it sticks with people because it’s sudden, quick, and devastating.
Kamiya is capable of making games that don’t feature tons of violence to.
Dunno if i would call this one of the things they have in common lol.
i meant more him and Suda51
Oh well THAT’S different. Sudas games a re gleefully violent and over the top.

Wasn’t it forbes who were the only ones to acknowledge how shitty the ME3 ending was?
Respect to them and that Eric Kain d00d.

I actually was picturing something with Nevan to be honest.
Clearly, this is saved for Devil May Run Up On a Nigga.
Kinda old news, but if you want to get the achievement/trophy for slaying 5,000 demons easily, go on Heaven or Hell mode, Mission 10 (Bad News), and just use E&I in the enemy sections. I got over 250 kills on my first HoH playthrough of that level alone that way. Do everything else, then just do that 1-3 times and you’ve got the plat/1000 gamerscore.
Actually I think Angry Joe on youtube did a fairly good job at nailing down what was good and bad about the game in his review. Even sometimes bringing up the kinds of things that would displease veteran fans of the series, but make a new player not familiar with hack and slash games happy/comfortable with their experience. Such as how this game gives out SSS rankings like fuckin candy. Though i admit, he kind of overdid making fun of the new emo/goth look of dante. It kinda dragged on.
He also uses that kinda classic rating scale. 1-4 is complete trash. 5 is average. 6-9 is above average. 10 is god tier.
I normally trust his reviews to a fault because he isn’t tied to a logo. He can play a game and say whatever the fuck he wants about it. Like his review for mindjack.

my “opinions” seem to always come out as “facts” in the end.
“And who are you FUCK NUT?”
-Dante, DmC
It’s amazing how easy they made this game. You can quit at any point as long as you made it to a check point, shut off your system/go to the main menu and can restart from that exact point. What was a Yellow/Gold orb for in this game? Fanservice? I’m already getting bored of this game. I can’t recall if I played DMC2 longer than this. I got 99+ hours on vanilla DMC3, around 75+ on DMCSE, and 50+ on DMC4.
“You don’t fuck with a god.”
-Mundus, DmC
Looks like Mundus won’t be seeing Raiden anytime soon.
^I agree with the difficulty thing. I had somewhere around 20 hours on my first playthrough of DMC3. Mostly because I kept restarting boss fights to preserve my items and memorize the fuck out of their patterns. In any video game ever I’m an Item hoarder. i like to save vital stars and shit for that moment where I know that I REALLY REALLY need to use it. Like the Vergil fights.
“Me, a god. Versus you… a piece of shit.”
-Mundus, DmC
Such a way with words. Oh, do tell me. Have you ever read any of his haikus by chance?
I didn’t know that
“Whhhhooooooo the fuck are yooooouuuuuuuuuu?!?!?!!!?111”
was an haiku.
interesting.
The verbal stylings of the succubus are a bit more abstract in my opinion. It’s an acquired taste. She is a demon after all, so it normally sounds better when translated to latin and spoken in reverse,
