i dissagree
his backstory greatly affected the plot, his dads sword was the plot

This. Seriously. Sterling is a fatter Itagaki with an annoying voice. He’s pretty ugly to look at and listen to.

I’ll post what I think of the game later.

Soooo do we have any solid numbers on this game sales or are people pulling numbers out their asses out of spite?

I played the MGR demo earlier tonight.

Willing to trade goods and/or sexual favors for a 360 copy.

Mine’s downloading right now, so I hope I’ll be in the same boat as you when I can finally play it.

I find it odd people are now just playing it.
Had this been the original cover for Zone of the Enders Collection, I think it would’ve sold more:

Hot damn. That cover makes me want to buy 50 copies.

Fun fact:
In DmC, when trying to skip cutscenes… the majority of the cutscenes will play regardless and only skip the very end. Like the white wig scene. Go ahead, try it out.

Haven’t been in here a while but I found some stupid shit while doing DMD. I recommend having level 2 normal shots with revenant unlocked.
Next time you fight a Tyrant. Get behind him and shoot him twice in the back with revenant. When he falls to his knees because of the stun, demon pull him.
While he is on the ground shoot him two more times with revenant and he will teleport to the stun state where he is on his knees. You just created an infinite loop to kill a tyrant. Granted it takes a hot minute to actually kill this way, but you can if you want. Like if you need to take grab a drink but don’t wanna pause the game. You can, literally, single-handedly kill a tyrant. Bottomline: 2 shots, demon pull, 2 shots, demon pull, 2 shots, demon pull, wash, rinse, repeat.

Also for fighting dreamrunners. you can force a recovery state that leaves them open. Shoot them with ebony and ivory. While they are doing their “I’m like vergil bitch spin mah swords cause fuck your bullets” technique, you demon pull them. This makes them do that little thing where they telegraph that they can be hit at the moment. I normally just do high time, roulette, then drop with arbiter. But that’s personal preference. The less enemies are around, the easier it is. It takes awhile against two dreamrunnes, and is somewhat of a pain in the ass when a witch is involved.

That’s because this is one of those games where they disguise loading screens as cutscenes. Honestly it works on any cutscene that is shorter than 3 minutes.

Finally some real journalism when it comes to gaming. At this point the lenient reviews have become an established model since simply reviewing games doesn’t generate enough income to run something like IGN. I know they have a subscription service but I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t profit them much.

It’s a third of DMC4 launch numbers in that region, same with the UK numbers, but no idea if these numbers are good since game sales have gone down across the board since then afaik. 360 Japanese sales are pretty negligible so they weren’t included. **

There’s still Digimon games coming out?

Lol @ the damage of DMC2

Ya know what game I really hated that in? Max Payne 3. I swear it’s the only reason I didn’t replay anything in the game, whether or not I wanted to skip the cutscene I had to put the controller down for at least 5 minutes.

For fuck sake, i forgot to download the demo yesterday :frowning:

LOL them dudes didn’t want any more of that DMC shit and then they found out how godlike it was.

Welp if this game did do bad, don’t be surprised if this series gets put out to pasture instead of them going back to the well and giving us the old DMC again.

Oh when the game does bad, and it will. I expect Capcom to fully drop DMC. Capcom does not admit mistakes, they just blame the public.

I don’t imagine DmC doing much better in the following years considering all of the (deservedly) bad rep it has gotten. Oh well.

I wouldn’t call those sales nowhere near as bad. Lower than other games in the franchise? Yes, but the game’s still topping charts.
