I don’t think it should’ve gotten a 5.9 but c’mon son, Anarchy Reigns is a solid game when playing multiplayer and such but that single player was a chore. Had some interesting stuff going for it but it was a chose nonetheless.
It does get tedious but it is completely an accessory to the multiplayer.

im kinda torn on this one guys. this is the dragon quarter of this series by itself its not a bad game but if general fan base doesn’t like it and it doesn’t sell it wont bring back the other series dmc will just die completely like breath of fire. im still kinda mad that ill never have another party of a dragon, weretiger, and whatever the hell peco was supposed to be.
Why doesn’t DmC have any action in it’s cutscenes? It’s like God of War 3 now. I don’t mind more dialogue but shit… I just don’t want to miss the party.

You can fuck em all you want but God of War III disappointed the crap out of me. Revisiting the same places (I don’t care if it made sense for the story it was boring to see the same places twice. It made the world feel small.) and a lack luster selection of weapons left a lime bitter bad taste in my mouth.

If I recall back in the day when DMC2 was released, a lot of gaming journalists compared it to DMC1 and founding it lacking, thusly giving it a worse score. Gaming journalism today compares DmC to the previous games, says it’s lacking what the previous games has, but gives it a score on par with DMC3 and 4.

The game getting a 9/10 implies it’s in the same league as such gems as Okami… and I find that fucking offensive. Gaming journalism is a joke.
They can’t afford to burn bridges, publisher could stop sending them copies for reviews
Some give high scores so they’re at the top of a site like metacritic for the traffic
