Sure thing. It’s pronounced like so:
kyoufu = kyohfu
wo = o (the w is silent…)
oshiete = o-she-eh-teh
yaru = yah-ru
Quick Japanese pronunciation guide, the vowels in Japanese are always pronounced as follows… ALWAYS
a = the a in although, ah sound
i = the e in evil, ee sound
u = the oo in oops, oo sound
e = the e in help, eh sound
o = the o in oh, oh sound
Did that help? :tup:
Yeah, that vowel pronunciation thing helped.
The part that’s driving me crazy though, is the “wo oshiete” part. Because wo is pronounced oh, then oshiete starts out with the oh sound, you end up with “oh oshiete.” Giving you two oh sounds in a row. Which to me at least, is weird.
Thanks none-the-less.
nope, that’s “Shi o kureteyaru”, though it’s usually romanized as “Shi wo kureteyaru” :tup: It means “I will kill you,” or literally “I will give you death”
