Tatsu buff, Normals buff, and Lp. Palm change then he’s good to go.

about 70-80% of my matches i have a super bar at the end of the first round. i like to lk df alot when im fullscreen away ;). also lp palm inbetween fireballs just for fun and meter gain.

I agree on the meta game, but at some point you have got to use it, and when you do, that’s the end of that meta game until you restock.

I thought you were saying waiting and sitting on a super was actually a viable alternative playstyle. IMO they would need to make the super full juggle and reduce pushback on cl.st.hk for that to work.

I’ve been thinking about U2, but what are we really going to be able to punish that we can’t already? And is punishing with U2 worth it over having shinsho and the threat of backthrow or a corner combo? It’s still going to be impossible to land a fully charged Denjin on near anyone in any situation, nevermind actually get a wall bounce. In obvious situtations like a cammy uppercut, you can just EX palm combo her, blanka will be taken care of with mp palm…

They did buff damage on U2 but yeah.

Also, you don’t need three bars on a good amount of the cast to land EX palm full Ultra 1. I’d say about half. There are only 6 characters where you have absolutely no way to land an EX palm Ultra 1 (multi or full) on.

I’m anxious to see the last round of changes and even more anxious to get my hands on this new iteration.

What im wondering about is will we be able to combo into ultra 2 on the ground from an FADC since we can speed it up now.

This is a combo I want to try out. Gouken Flip dive kick – Standing MP-- Crouching HP-- LP hadou-- FADC-- ULTRA 2— Wall bounce-- EX Tastu :slight_smile:

Now i wonder how much stun that combo would do…

That’s my problem with Ultra 2, if that combo stuns, the followup combo isn’t going to do SHIT in terms of damage. The followup combo is at 80% scaling and you used 3 bars already just to get that.

You get 80 + 65 + 64 +38.5 + 207 +100 = 550 dmg

100 + 100 + 160 + 35 + 240 + 100 = 735 stun

Furthermore, even if that works, you could do the same with shin sho.

Thanks for the math. Today ONO says he has announcements for AE 2012 and SFvsTK . I will be at work but the moment I get home I hope I read some good news on AE 2012 like a release date or final patch list. Im ready to mess around with stuff!

As a brand new Gouken player I’m hoping for the best. I don’t know why I didn’t pick this character up sooner, I’m having a blast, win or lose. Sure there’s some frustration but as someone who played Makoto all throughout Super I’m used to dealing with a bit of losing, lol. So anyway, here’s hoping he gets something meaningful eh?

They usually post in the morning, between 9am and 11am, in Japanese time. Which converts to like 1am~3am GMT.
Who knows, mayb capcom unity will do us a favour and post earlier than Japanese dev blog.
