Reviews on steam are mixed with 64%, seems most negative reviews are from people raging against the microtransactions and greedy business practices rather than the actual game being shitty which I guess is better news than hearing everyone say the game itself sucks.
Been playing for 9 hours now and the game is awesome so far (bar a few performance issues). So many nooks and crannies to explore :wow:.
Haven’t gotten it yet, but they already released a PC patch for it today.
And yes, haven’t gotten it yet because no PC collector’s edition. How bogus. I WANT MUH ADAM JENSEN STARING AT ME ON MY DESK.
What’s the thing about story being incomplete? I heard the game only has half the story, how true is this? What are the planned story DLC’s so far?
Looking for a new game since W3 is over, really wanna pick this up but £40 quid on steam and some of these reviews are getting more savage

Story wise, not as good as Deus Ex or Human Revolution but it has top notch gameplay a huge improvement from Human Revolution.
I’d love a Deus Ex remake with the original audio and everything unless they’re planning more Prequel games that’s fine with me too.
Yeah I finished it too. I did like the story, and I disagree it ends on a cliffhanger insomuch as you solve the case that happens in the game, but it’s not like you solve EVERYTHING going on in the background. I kinda doubt the DLC episodes will take place after the main game too, unfortunately, so seems like we’ll just have to wait for another game.
I definitely agree with all the 8/10s I’ve seen. The gameplay is fucking sweet, the new augs are super cool, locale variety is better, character models are so much better lol, color usage is better, tons of interesting situations you get put in, etc., just, it kinda felt short. Even with all the side quests included, which certainly do help it’s real-time length, the main plot did just feel “short”
I put in 12 hours into the game and I just completed the first story mission. I’ve been exploring the hell out of this game and hacking every terminal I find.
I don’t own this game yet but which ending of Human Revolution does this game assume as the real one?
All of them, sort of. They run with the premise that only Jensen knows what happened at Panchaea.
It doesn’t build off any of Human Revolution’s endings. The game follows up on the event when Darrow used the signal to turn every Aug person insane. Mankind Divided deals with the fallout of that.
Ah fuck it might as well get it then…

Sinking more hours into it, getting used to the controls now since I last played this shit on PS3. Just remembered the best way to do stuff is silent ninja style though I still love giving dudes finest KO.
Game has crashed twice on me so far though :mad: although I did get to enjoy an epic fuck up. One of the first side quests where you need to give a guy and a chick some fake IDs, the old guy was getting hold up but instead of hitting the thug I booted the old man into the corner then punched him into the phantom zone. Full blown erection.
Who else made a save file so they could run about the strip club and blow everybody away with the shotgun?
