Yeah I know. When the first one was released its all one of my buddys would talk about. I would have liked to play it then but I didnt have a pc that could run it. Shit, I didnt get a pc that could run games till just a few months ago.

I don’t think the first thing people want to do is jump into multiplayer in a game built solely on a heavy choice-making single player game.

I played for a bit last night. Its pretty cool I guess but I only played for about an hour or so. I can tell its gonna be kind of hard. I died like 10 times within that hour. It is a very pretty game and the voice acting seems pretty solid. The cover system confuses me during combat a bit though. Push space bar to skip across empty space to get to the next cover or hold space bar to move to the other side of a crate you are hiding behind. I’ll probably get use to that with more play.

How do I get the pictures small like the ones above?

dirzzt360: I took that exact same two pics! I use flickr to host, it gives you the option to link different sizes. In my case I picked “forum” size. As for the cover system, try binding it to your mouse. I have cover on my thumb button on my mouse. Works like a charm for me there. Just keep customizing until it works.
I didn’t even consider moving the cover button to my mouse buttons. I generally don’t do shit like that because then I have to figure out where to put other buttons and I just get confused. If they aren’t assigned to anything (I pushed them last night to see what would happen and they didn’t do anything) I’ll definitely try that out.

I thought it was pretty cool at the start, when you first gain control, how I could look at the chicks computer. I went over and when I started looking my character says something like “you should really learn how to keep your computer locked” and the chick was like “I know.”. So I started looking at her emails and after I looked at a few of them she was like “Hey, stop lookin’ at my emails!”.

Couldn’t resist. Sold MK9 for near what I paid for it and bought Deus Ex.
Kind of doing the main missions but having a little more fun doing the side missions.
I said most of my thoughts on the GD lounge thread, so I’ll just be blunt.
Best game to come out this summer. Eidos just got major points from me, the last game I enjoyed from them was Deus Ex 1. This game drips quality.
This is a sequel that shouldn’t disappoint anyone.
