The later the better for the raid. I’m available anytime after 7:30ish. Would prefer a 10pm start so I can hit vanguard 2, but can do earlier.
MIDA is a really fun weapon to use and my favorite primary after Fatebringer.
Pros:
-You get two movement speed perks when fully upgraded, which makes it extremely effective for PvP
-Large magazine (21 base, 27 with field scout perk)
-Hair trigger perk makes getting a lot of shots off for decent DPS (the timing and pressure of the trigger pull takes some getting used to, but once you get it down it’s easy to get those rapid shots off)
-Very good stability, making it easy for all those shots to land for precision damage
-Radar stays active while ADS
-Fast reload speed
-Good mid-to-long range
Cons:
-Impact not quite as high as other scout rifles
-Cannot change the scope (this does not bother me as much since I actually like the scope it comes with, but some customization would have been nice)
-Not very good for close range
I think it’s an excellent weapon and very fun to use, especially with the two movement speed perks. Makes my Titan feel like a Hunter, and my Hunter feel like Legolas. Your miles may vary, but if you have the extra coins I recommend it.
Note: I don’t have VoC yet, so I don’t really have an opinion on how it stacks up against it. The fully auto and solar damage characteristics of that weapon make it very appealing, plus the fact that it doesn’t take up your exotic weapon slot. I think it really comes down to personal preferences, but MIDA is pretty effective for most situations, and I enjoy using it.

please buff it lol. I wasn’t even bothered by large magazine nerf, thing was uncontrollable after first 4 shots. Perfect Balance(no recoil) is what I use, just run around priming a charge and tracking people on radar. You can fire early just to get it going cuz it’s charge time is definitely slower than Plan C for instance, but with the missed shot return and perfect balance dodging the next 3 or so is like trying to dodge a Ghostbusters plasma stream. I’ve only had 2 level 30s in Iron Banner survive point blank 3 round burst, everyone else it’s 1-2 shots.
I also run around with Hunter/Warlock using the blink jump, so you can teleport all over people and charge up before they figure out where u went. My Hunter was 29 1/2, i could survive single shot fusion rifle hits and bodyshots from snipers, so even if they caught me off guard i can charge up and kill them lol.
It sucks for PVE mostly, but MP it’s hands down the best weapon IMO. I need to get those exotic gauntlets from Xur for that special weapon reload speed.
Also Shadow Price is a great MP rifle, i got a random drop one that increases clip size to 42 over 25.

Shadow price is fairly generic in terms of a rifle. I think for a gun to be higher tier it needs to actually do something wether it be beneficial to you but beneficial when you fight people. For instance the dot from thorn. Or the ability to keep ur radar up while ads. Stuff like that i think is what separates a good gun from a great gun. Am i wrong?

i got it… maxed it out but since then its been in the vault just dont find much reason to use it ever since getting atheons epilogue
and pocket infinity got so much mileage in the crucible for me i still run it from time to time.
the gun takes priority on your gear lol cause it beats everything in pvp at a certain range so youll find yourself constantly trying to get into the situations where you win
certain gloves hold more ammo for it and reload it faster
you will keep it like a primary.
max stability destroys people too favorite situation-they miss their fusion shot and they just bend over cause you know i wont miss or catching them around the bend
and plus its rare because for some weird reason no body uses it lmfao
i dont get it… pocket infinity is the most slept on weapon in the game
they need to buff up to 4 shots per clip and of course im happy they might be buffing the vex small damage increase thanks

and VoC is on par or beats multi tool
more impact but the multi tool can fire faster than the full auto of VoC
id say you about even i just dont want it because it takes a exotic space
it should be legendary class IMO if your gonna be a exoic weapon you gotta be worth it

Yea for pvp i really think ur weapon needs to fit your playstyle and be special if its an exotic. I agree that hair trigger as the exotic special ability just isnt worth it. I guess ill hold on to my tokkens for now since i have VoC I really need a good exotic wep. Currently the only one i have is ice breaker and i hate it for pvp id rather just use some generic sniper.
Also i have unfriendly giant and omg i love it, you dont even have to aim lol its funny to shoot a sniper and hes like lawl u missed noob and then boom. Puts a smile on my face everytime.
Other than mythocast and surros being top what other primaries are worth hunting or keeping an eye out for pvp? Im fairly set for pve/ dont care for it. I just wana be a nasty power house of synergy and effectiveness in pvp.
