Anyone else notice the firing sound of auto rifles changed? I also notice that hive tomb ships make a lot of noise now. Seems this patch has a lot of stealth changes in it, some that dont make any sense.
Explosion animation changed on precision kills with firefly perk using fatebringer a well.

I was blinking red after a quad kill and a 25 tried to fuck with me and couldn’t do shit meanwhile he got disintergrated by the vex
Building your rank is rough though I made it to rank 2 from the previous iron banner so it carried over but these people hoping to get armor and weapons to level up are gonna be irritated
I won 7 matches in a row and I’ve barely filled 1/4 th of the rank
And you don’t get the other shader till rank 5

EDIT: Going to add everyone in the guild tonite. Gonna do Crucible for a while beforehand. Might do the Weekly Heroic Strike with people to get the Guild Strike Trophy. Considering it’s Sepik Prime with Arc Burn, should be easy.
I only wish that there is a lot of 25 to 27 when i hop in so my suckiness gets compensated with my level 
I’m down to run the nightfall first too, that way we get the xp bonus for the rest of the week. I have arc primary (Fatebringer), arc secondary (Patience and Time), and a Legendary arc rocket launcher. If we take our time and be careful it shouldn’t be too bad.

I’m 29 Titan, so I should be good for raid. My alt Hunter is 25, but should be 27-28 with full upgrades on armor.
Don’t think I’ll be able to raid - wasn’t able to level up at all last night. Perhaps next week.
Turns out I was neglecting my Vanguard rep by not prioritizing bounties - thus I can’t buy any Legendary stuff w/ all the Vanguard credits I’ve been earning. Ouch.
On the other hand, I’ve been fairly fortunate to get the drops (and engram rolls) of armor that I’ve been getting to get me to 24.
You shouldn’t even attempt raids until 27-28. I know it says the lvl should be 26, but enemies get tougher later on.
Focus on getting at least one Epic armor from Xur (pops up Friday and Saturday. My alt hunter shot up to 25 just by equipping an epic and 2 legendaries un-upgraded.
I have the emblem, shader, cloak, tempering buff, nightfall buff and get 71 rep per win and 146 rep for 100 rep bounties. I’m glad I grinded rank 2 last iron banner to get the cloak because now the cloak is a lvl 4 unlock lol.
There are a lot of lvl 24-27’s playing, and I dont think a lot of them are using maxed out gear, which is a mistake. I’m lvl 29 with maxed out weapons and armor, and my survivability after a gunfight is insane compared to normal crucible. 3-4 kills before I’m on the verge of death.
@CTG What Vanguard rank are you? I believe you need to be rank 2 to buy Legendary armor, rank 3 for weapons.
The main issue with going into the Raid with a lower level is that the Supplicants and Praetorians in the Vault are level 28, so you wouldn’t do very much damage to them at all, even with maxed exotic weapons. The game scales damage if you are a lower level than the enemies.
I mean, I’m cool with you giving it a try if you want, as long as everyone else is and there is an open spot. But you WILL die a lot and it would probably be really frustrating for you.
