You can only Infuse a higher light item into a smaller light item - increasing the light of the smaller item.

I don’t believe Year 1 exotics can be Infused.

I would imagine because in Crucible StormCallers:

  1. Damn near instant kill everything in a 30ft radius for about a good 20 seconds
  2. Move fast as fuck
  3. Take almost no damage

I’ve only seen a stormcaller die in two scenarios. Getting hit in the fact with a Golden Gun or Light Bow, and being mauled with 4 swords.

We did the black spindle mission last night on our first go (ggs dahc). Im a bit pissed about not getting the ship… i think its because i wasnt at 290 or above light yet (i was around 283-287). We done it with 2 bubble titans (1 armour and 1 weapons) and 1 sith warlock. The boss is not that hard its the bloddy ads… it was kinda funny warlock popped his super and we ran around after him cleaning up ads and collecting orbs lol… looked abit like pacman

im down to do it multiple times… i want the extra ones to infuse with other weapons.

Yeah I got it last night too, I was actually playing with some RL friends and we knocked it out 2nd try. I got the exotic sword last night to (void). Shit wrecks. Yesterday was a good day

Nah its a continued quest line from the legendary sword. I still havent touched the raid yet. Although I probably will finally run through it this weekend I just got over 290+ with decent gear. And from what i hear the spindle wrecks so should be good to go

Didn’t get it last night. Couldn’t stop teammates from turtling in the entrance hallway.

Gonna level up my Titan this week to run the bubble strat for next time it’s up. Tried it late last night with someone and it worked pretty well. The biggest issues I see are

[] People focus on the boss so much, they don’t take 10 seconds to put down the new portals
[] Folks are way too used to turtling. They don’t want to go out in the area, which causes us to miss portals we don’t see
[*] Teams want to DPS the boss to kill ASAP which is fine, but they don’t have the tools to do so.

I was on my Hunter using Nighstalker sub. Supercell, Solar fusion and solar sword. Supercell sucks for single target boss DPS, but rips adds to pieces. I got close with a couple random dude-bros, but we missed a few portals and got overwhelmed.

The 4th Holyshit with Weapons of Light makes quick work of the boss in the Spindle mission.

Exotic swords wreck him hard too, especially the solar one. That uppercut move is not very exciting to look at but it does massive single-target damage. On a heroic strike it will put down a psion flayer in 3-5 hits.

Swords are the new shotgun in pve

Yeah if u can get a couple people in there with the exotic swords…they really can make quick work of him. There were people clearing it with 3-4 minutes left at this point

Choice for second sword? Already have Solar. I’m thinking Arc since there are more of those shields on adds than Void.
