The only reason why there wasnât a reason to use a fusion rifle is because bungie fucked them out, now there is zero reasons to use shotguns and fusion rifles.
And no, the shotguns were not strong, the average range is beyond stupid and the lack of spread damage makes them worthless the major part of the time, add stuff like angry and lighswitch and is gg.
Bungie is worse than capcom when it comes to balancing, every balance change they make, makes everything worse.
The fact that one sniper head shot doesnât kill unless certain perks now is beyond stupid.
I think snipers still one-shot if itâs a headshot. Itâs just they made final round only proc if itâs a precision shot, making it a redundant and useless perk in PvP.
My hope is that the sword is so obcene that i will be playing Destiny May Cry and unleashing my wrath with my Titan upon the fools that crosses paths with me.
Edit
On the subject of the shotguns, tell me what i am supposed to do with the Universal Remote?
Is fucking useless now, more than it even was before.
So they nerfed shottys, almost to where they were post the first big weapons balance. Onto not using them ever. I did see that the universal remotes range was increased though
I only had a little time before I had to leave for classes. I mostly played pvp.
ARâs are definitely better. I tried the Summoner and Hard Light. Both were good, but the summoner was better imo. I got killed by the Suros a lot too.
However, the pulse rifles still beat ARâs. My hopscotch pilgrim, red death and messenger beat ARâs, especially at mid-range.
Thorn is still good.
Last Word hip fire is good, but ADS sucks.
My shot package Felwinters still kills from stupid ranges. I even died to a party crasher from mid range.
Blink feels like thereâs a short delay before you can ready your weapon, and itâs a lot more obvious which direction they blinked to.
The faction quest chain you get from being rank 25 with a faction only starts counting when wearing the faction shader, emblem, and class item. Which is kind of dumb since pledging was supposed give you more freedom in what you want to wear.
Dinklebot had a little more authority. I miss him. The new voice just doesnât sound good to me. Too whiny. It ruins the atmosphere of the game. Well, maybe not ruins, but it definitely doesnât fit in.
I donât think that kicks in until TTK goes live. Could be wrong though.
I didnât have much time to play around, just explored the menus and Tower. I absolutely love the new Quest screen, the missions finally feel like they have proper context and weight. Didnât do any of the new quests though I love the presentation.
Getting Pocket Infinity and an Elder Cipher exotic auto completed instantly was pretty sweet, even though I knew it was coming.
As an Interactive Designer myself, I really like the fresh coat of paint they gave the menus and map screens. Improved typography, animations, little sounds here and there and most of all they fixed a ton of QOL issues.
Excited to tackle some of these subclass missions.
Itâs there. If you pledge to a faction and youâre at rank 25 or higher, you are given a quest chain that will give you an exotic class item.
The first part of the quest is kill things in pvp and pve, win pvp matches, beat heroic strikes etc. However, it wont start counting anything until you put on the factions emblem, class item and shader.
You can definitely feel the shotgun nerf in PVE. I feel like it was warranted and makes the game better overall. But, you can still be sniped by sgottys.
I think he has multiple phrases for a 10 kill streak. I got one where he says âI could win wars with 10 of youâ and I had another but I canât remember what it was. Also just got the new no mercy medal. They break up the teams at the end if itâs too lopsided.
