To be honest, you should get that gun regardless. It’s probably the last rifle you’ll see with Field Scout.
Regarding post-2.0.0 auto rifles, you’re better off with the high ROF rifles like Hard Light/Monte Carlo/Low Down/Up For Anything/Silimar’s Wrath (HoW version). The high ROF, low (not minimum) impact autos actually have the best TTK for the weapon type. My Hard Light and Silimar are going to FLEX in the Crucible…I’ve been getting in that Hard Light practice for the past week and it’s awesome in small maps.
Are there any benefits now to playing on PS4 Vs Xbox? I know there used to be some PS4 exclusives or whatever but I never even knew what they were. Reason I ask is 'cause I’m about to start playing the game again (I didn’t do much past “Story” before, lol) but now that I have both consoles and friends who play Destiny on each I’m kinda torn deciding which platform.
I know the PS exclusives are going to be available to Xbox in September, but I’m not sure if/what additional exclusives might be released with TTK.
Joking side, if you have both consoles and friends on both, I’d go with PS because of the additional content. Also consider which controller is more comfortable for you.
Yeah, the controller is a big reason why I’m kinda leaning towards Xbox, though I have more friends who play on PS. I don’t dislike the PS controller but that grip on the analog sticks wears off so fast and none of the replacement ones I’ve tried feel good.
Most of SRK is on PS4. I think I’m the lone Xbox One player here.
Almost all my friends play Destiny on 360 and Xbox One, so I went with Xbox. The game is significantly less fun with no friends. I also like the Xbox controller much more. The inverted thumbsticks feel more comfortable to me for FPS.
If you have friends on both and can only pick one, I’d go PS4 simply because it has the extra timed content. Though to be honest, on Xbox I really dont miss not having the extra stuff. I really wanted the Hawkmoon a year ago, but now it’s a month and a half away, and I don’t care.
@Drunkengameplayer The PS version will always have something that the X-Box version won’t have. Once the timer runs out on “old” exclusive content (ie Hawkmoon), more is introduced which won’t come to X-Box for a year.
That’s how the exclusivity works.
As for your decision, keep that in mind as well as the friends you’d rather play with, controller, etc.
Oh, I could have sworn you were on PS4, good to know I’m not the only one.
Yes, all the year one PS4 Exclusives will come to Xbox on Sept 15th. Hawkmoon, Monte Carlo, 4th Horseman, Psion Flares and Undying Mind Strike will be on Xbox.
I decided to go PS4. I also bought a new controller that I’m only going to use for Destiny, though I’m sure the analog stick grip will still wear off eventually. I’m gonna have to play my ass off to catch up with people, lol.
