Why would it disable it? No other cross-platform games do that.
I bought Black Flag for my PS3 originally and then upgraded it to the PS4 version. Both copies still work.

atm my roommate has a monitor + ps3 + 360, and we have a bunch of fight sticks - dunno if he has a 360 pad. if i want to get the game, i can borrow his 360, but i need to get my own monitor cuz iāll be playing a lot
now i do have dibs on a friendās used monitor for 90$ or so, still have to weigh options
right now iām thinking that if the core gameplay is good enough that making multiple characters is not going to be a drag (compared to borderlands having to play the exact same storyline twice at least for each character) then i can get destiny and skip borderlands pre sequel til borderlands is cheaper.

Iām gonna get on PS3 really soon here if any of yāall wanna buddy up. I played for awhile yesterday but eventually got too tired to keep playing. Game is fucking amazing so far, though. Iāve got a level 4 Warlock.

As of right now I dont think anybody could talk me out of playing Hunter anymore. Itās just too good. Doing the He-Man pose and getting an instant death revolver too stronk. I have a throwing knife, a double jump, an incendiary grenade, and a sniper rifle. I can die a happy man.
Plus in 3rd person view, Human Female Hunter got dat ass.
Also did you guys use the Sparrow yet? There needs to be a fucking competitive racing mode for these things.
Is the Sparrow the hover bike? Itās pretty damn cool you can just materialize that shit in front of you whenever you want. 
Yeah thatās the Sparrow. The summoning part is cool but I justs fucking love how those things maneuver when you hit the left trigger and take curves on it. Canāt wait to hit Lvl20 so I can use my code shaders 
And after playing it a bit more, Iād say Destiny is like Borderlands, Halo, and Mass Effect combined. Itās got a borderlands RPG shooter system, plays and feels like Halo for the most part, and then the civilized areas just remind me of Mass Effect. It just needs about 20% more neon lights and some intelligent Alien species.
How many planets can we go to? Iām holding off on going to the Moon until my friends and I get together again. I know Mars and Venus are a thing. Any others?
Iām not sure. I imagine the map gets a lot bigger once you start doing more of the missions.
I got that Mass Effect vibe too, though. Thatās exactly what I thought of the instant I saw The Tower for the first time.
so how big is this game? howās the pacing generally go when you sit down and play?
Itās pretty big. Iāve only been to one map besides The Tower and I spent a good 3 or 4 hours on it doing different missions without even exploring the whole thing. The pacing is really nice imo. Thereās a bunch of enemy variety and loot to discover, so while youāre supposed to do mission objectives it also encourages you to do a little exploring. I will say itās a pretty immersive and living experience. Sometimes youāll be fighting a mob and then another guardian comes out of nowhere to help you kick some ass. Some of them even stick around to help you out.
Iām having a blast with it so far, even though Iāve been doing most of these missions alone. Canāt really give a full impression yet though since Iāve spent so little time with it, but so far I love what Iāve seen.
