I was hoping to get some advice from jon and anybody else that’s traveled to Japan for previous SBO’s. Myself and a couple of friends are planning to make the trip out there for Evo vs GodsGarden. I wanted to ask you guys if you have some preferences or tips on places to stay and traveling around. We’re planning on staying there for about a week. The event will be held at kawasaki, in the kanagawa prefecture on May 6-7. Any help would be appreciated.

I lived in Asou-ku a neighborhood of Kawasaki for a couple months. It’s a little further from central tokyo. It took me 30 minutes on the Odakyu line to get to Shinjuku. But if the event is on the opposite side of Kawasaki it might take longer, up to an hour I’m guessing. Anyway, if you want to party and stay in the exciting part of Tokyo, I think you can get a hotel in the Shinjuku, Shibuya area etc, then just take the train to your event. I’m not sure though, double check, look into the train lines. Japan trip = bring money, do some research, everything will work out. Knowing even a little bit of the language and being friendly will make the trip 1000x better. Have fun be safeeee!
