Hey guys, haven’t been around Denjin recently since I moved out to Las Vegas. I miss Denjin and the regulars tremendously :sad:.
Anywho, not sure if you guys have heard or not but a local independent game store over here by the name of game over_ is throwing an SSFIV and Tekken 6 tournament on May 1st & 2nd. They are going as far as putting in $2000 of their own money into the prize pot. Since this has been announced people are calling it the first National Tournament for SSFIV. There are people who are skeptical about this since the scene has been screwed over time and time again but they have shown me and other regulars the $2000 that has been taken out and put aside for the tourney (no stupid Triple Threat drama). Place can accommodate a good amount of heads due to the game room they have in the back. This place is actually the main hang out for all the fighting players here in Vegas as well so everyone is making sure that this tournament is going as smooth as possible. They are trying to get a pre-party at a local strip club over here which will be explained in an upcoming hype/ promo video (21 and over for party). I know they have been talking to a lot of people in scene that throw tourneys making sure they get everything down perfectly to the last point so nothing messes up.
