So what’s the smartest way to use the 20+k soul drop from Gaping Dragon? lol I feel like I’m being trolled right now with all these monies… I remember a Crest key thing that opens some door in the forest for 20K, was I suppose to travel back and grab that?
Turns out, I died so close to the entrance to the Capra Demon that I could just walk up and recover my souls/humanity without traversing the White Light… phew lol
Holy fuck, New Londo Ruins is damn hard.
Those ghosts are fuckin’ annoying, mainly because you get nothing for killing them besides MORE temporary curse items

Down the steps next to the Capra Demon’s gate. The key you get from the boss opens a door there into the sewers.
So everyone starts with 5 Flasks? How come I have 10 after the tutorial then without kindling?
The first bonfire at the firelink shrine starts out kindled already

If you beat the capra, you might as well head to blight town.
The 20k key from the blacksmith is a scam. Just level up, or buy titanite ore since you use that for everything.
Also, you don’t need divine weapons to kill undead. The weapon just has to have some element damage beside being a normal weapon.

Where can i find some early divine weapons? I rolled a cleric and ive been pumping lots of points onto faith. Just hit Blighttown and i feel like my damage isnt where its suppose to be…
Go to the blacksmith then go to darkroot whatever. Hug the right wall and after the first enemy but before the second you’ll find a path. Keep heading down and you’ll come to a bonfire, then follow the path more and you’ll get to a new area. Go to your left and keep following it, eventually you’ll find a divine sword.
Has anyone gotten random humanity? I died and was running back to my souls when I noticed this black swirly absorb effect that gave me a humanity point. I hadn’t even killed anything, either.
you dont need the key from the blacksmith, you can get the back way via the long ass ladder where the hydra is…at least i think you can, i used the key to get in there but circled back to they hydra. there is also a covenant (in the form of a cat looking thing npc) that is quite interesting.

Yeah, I went around through the hydra. But for the grind point to work, you need the quick access to the bonfire.
Have no clue where that is…lol. Doubt ill be able to make it there anyway because im stuck in Blighttown.
So I’m better off just leveling up then with my 25k soul rather than buying the 20k key?
You’ll make that 20k back in less than ten minutes grinding in that garden area, man. Ten minutes later you’ll probably have 35k. o_o
