After sifting through the remains of all the other games I’ve picked up since I 1000/1000 Dark Souls, man it is crazy how much time I can sink into this game. Pop in Dark Souls at 9pm, next time I look at the clock it’s 4am. Just something about this game, lumps and all. Obsession at it’s finest.

I say the DLC should be free, because a PC port wouldn’t have even been made if it wasn’t for the massive sales and support from us console owners.

I’ll still buy the DLC though, I’m gonna level up a few more times so I can use this specific sword that does more damage than the sword you craft with the final bosses soul.

I don’t mind paying for DLC for this game, it had a pretty complete package. Wasn’t like ME3 with day one DLC or Skyrim I’ll just wait for the GOTY edition. More Souls please.

i feel like they waited too long to drop the dlc after about 4 playthroughs mainly for pvp i stopped playin because i was turning into a wow player lol, so i cant believe that i would be able to jump back in this game after that much needed time off it…

I wonder if the expansion will change anything for the main game?
Like rebalanced weapons, changing the way bosses may fight, removing blight town, stuff like that.

It was kinda old, but I just saw a guy beat Demon’s Souls in about an hour (on a regular NG, not a NG+). I wonder if a similar speedrun is possible in Dark Souls.

NG everything was easier.

I wound up summoning a couple of heavies to help me with them.

I loved, hated and played the shit out of demon’s souls, I still haven’t picked up Dark Souls yet so I have a few questions:

  1. I heard there was a character that screwed up your save file pretty bad, I am usually not the type that uses game guides but can someone tell me how I’d avoid this character?
  2. Are the multiplayer functions any better?
  3. There this one level I absolutely HATED in Demon’s Souls (the swamp part of level 5) it really slowed down the gameplay and it felt tedious to keep using Royal Lotuses, please tell me there isn’t any level like that in Dark Souls.

  1. Don’t recall any character that screws up your save file, beaten the game 10+ times and havent encountered game breaking bug/glitches.

  2. MP is about the same.

  3. You’re in for a treat, its called Blighttown muahahahahahahahaha. Although not as bad as swamp lvl in Demon Souls imo. You still get some framerate problems.
