He meant the human guards that show up after you kill Her Holiness, the Princess(HOW DARE YOU! BTW)

It literally takes about a minute to run down there and one-shot each of those two guards after Anor Londo goes dark, and then Homeward back to the fireplace. That’s 12000 souls in less than a minute in your first playthrough.
You can even warp to the right bonfire (Princess) in the first place. It could not be any easier than that.

To me it looked like the painted world was better souls…looked like he got about 20000, and it takes less time to run to the statue vs. the guards. Meh, farming souls is lame anyway, just pvp.

Oh so we’re not talking about the huge guards in the hall? Sorry mate , my bad. I have never killed the tittyprincess and i never will. So i haven’t seen these new enemies you were mentioning.

im an ass man myself so shotin’ so gettin rid of some titties is no biggie.

im outi

I think I messed up my character’s stats when making a faith build. This is an estimate, but so far it’s this.
40 HP,9-12 End,15 Att,24 STR, 18 DEX, 20 Int,40 Faith

What is a good weapon to use? Just got the greatsword or artorias and it’s not very strong. Before that I had a divine axe+7. Oh and I use the above video posted to level except with Wrath of God and the soul increasing ring. Get 8400 in under a minute.

Geordie is playing now.

So I encountered someone today with 65535 HP. I take he has stuck his save on a USB stick and edited it as I was reading the max you can get on all stats is 99 (which is something like 1900 HP with 99 vitality)?

Either way I encountered him twice and so did a few of my friends playing. Managed to knock him off an edge the second time around. Made a horrible, horrible Guiles Theme Goes With Everything from it. I expect leaderboards to be hacked in pretty much any game I play but this is just sad.

For the achievement to create all boss weapons do they have to exist on the same character or can I create half on one and the other half on the other? Also, trying to farm 1 red titanite slab for over an hour and didn’t get a drop.

Think it’s gotta be all on one character like in Demon’s Souls.

Can’t quite remember weapons off the top of my head so use this site. Input your current stats and it should show you which weapons you can and cannot equip. From there just pick something you like.

I’ve been getting back into this game recently, and I’m trying to rank up my Warrior of Sunlight covenant before I venture into Lost Izalith (I was rank 2 with the chaos covenant before I joined Solaire, but forgot to open the shortcut before I switched covenants :/). Before I quit the sunlight covenant, I want to get enough medals for the rank 1 miracles. Anyone want to join me in some jolly cooperation? I’m at SL 91, and would be down for some co-op if anyone is up for it. GT is Renhoff.

I can’t wait to get invaded by max level characters who can backstab me from the front 20 feet away.

Dark Souls confirmed for PC

Now with two new bosses.

Enjoy your hacked game.

I will enjoy it.

Oh man, you know it! I can’t wait.

Pllllllllease. I get that you’re now a PC sales guy, and I’m not hating at all on that, but… stop fronting like this is still '05. PC gaming is an afterthought to 90%* of major developers nowadays, because the “hardcore player base” (term used verrrrrry loosely) has vastly shifted.

I’m a PC gamer first (from the days of configuring your baud rate and IRQ to connect via modem to play Command and Conquer and Duke Nukem 3D) and console gamer second, but I’m just being real here. Has any game that’s been adapted from console-exclusive to PC ever been great? Even more popular games, like Gears? Even Epic, who is a PC developer originally, decided not to bother porting G3 because they’d rather focus on patching a console version. The game was designed to be played with a console controller- Unless they do some major tweaking, it won’t control well without a gamepad, and obviously they don’t intend to make that priority one, as implied by ensuring that one of their selling points is that it’s gamepad compatible.

Not to mention the fact that what he said is the #1 reason why the game will be nigh-unplayable after a short time: no fees, and From Software is a relatively small company, and aren’t going to financially be able to babysit their servers all that much to prevent hacking. The game has had one major patch in 6 months, and there is still a whole hell of a lot wrong with it that hasn’t been fixed - do you really think they’re going to patch every time someone finds a way to make TWoP/RoF work the way it did pre-1.05?

I love the game, and look forward to play it through again on PC, but let’s not pretend that it’s going to be a totally great experience from start to finish. I’d love for it to be hack-free, but considering that even the 360 version has its occasional bullshit, let’s just say that I’m going to remain skeptical.Having the framerate in Blighttown, Ariamis, and New Londo Ruins be tolerable will be nice though. That is, assuming all the people that will play it have a decent machine, which will cost a hell of a lot more than the $250 a PS3/360 costs.
