that’s exactly what happened on my first play through. Black knight sword +5 as soon as I was able to use it. Great weapon two handed.

have any of you guys dug deep in to the pvp aspect of the game. i really didnt explore it to much in demons. watched some Japanese guy doing it, and it seems like alot of fun.
It’s funny, not ten minutes ago, the Black Knight sword dropped for me in the undead burg.
Well, the Black Knight weapons are Common drops. They just seem rare because the Black Knights are few and do not respawn.
I want BK Shield on my re-roll, that shield is the truth.
Sadly I’ve killed all BK’s except the ones on Kiln so no shield for me q_q.
BK Greatsword is a semi-rare drop ;_; I think that and the great axe are the rarest ones.
You can’t repair the BK Shield according to the wiki.
Greatshield of Artorias is best but it requires 34 str which puts it out of reach for many characters. Still 88 stability you can block just about everything.
I keep it in mind but I just participate as a subset of the game. I’ll probably do it more once I settle on how I want to build my character for that
What you can do is try to grab some of the loot near the start of the graveyard and then run back to the bonfire. But in general you should avoid that area like the plague till you level up some more. Take the area northeast of the bonfire. Can’t miss it. It’s basically a long staircase that leads to a few undead soldiers.
so 2 questions.
#1 i got the lord vessel but i still cant enter the gold missed doors? is it glitched or whats the deal. as soon as i got the lord vessel from that giant chick i went to the gold mist that is anor londo and i still couldnt enter it…what gives?
#2 where in anor londo is the optional painting level?

after you get the lord vessel you need to give it to frampt the big ass snake in firelink shrine.

Guys, if you have a faith build, be wary of that fat dude that sells you miracles at Firelink. After you save Rhea from the Tomb of Giants make sure you immediately go to the Undead Parish church. Buy her spells!!!

Well the game has a bunch of descriptions for items and stats that don’t really do anything at all. Like chaos spells saying they get a damage boost from humanity but they don’t.

RIP Knight Solaire, you were a true bro in both fights I needed you.
After saving Rhea and meeting her at the church, you might as well take a trip back up the elevator and shank the fat bastard. That way she stays around.
And yea you can repair the BK shield. It’s so damn good.I got it from my first black knight and it basically lasts you most of the game. With it you can even block Havel’s attacks without getting guard broken at an early level (I started as a pyromancer).
I’ve got a stack of millions of them in my late game file, but I think I’m going to restart as a pyro or something.
