Demon Bride: New 2D fighting game by Examu?

Makes me a little worried though. Looking at how 2D sprites are developing over the past year or so, I can’t help but feel Examu are behind with this one… Game still looks mint though…

I kinda just want to see the game in motion

because the character designs so far haven’t done anything for me at least

If it wasn’t for Examu being behind the wheel I probably wouldn’t have given this another look past OCTOPUS ARM

From picture 17 on, that suddenly starts to ring.

Guy with angel girl
Guy with devil girl

Mistress with miserable looking little devil (stepping on him)
Shota with motherly figure (??)

Nun with… something (uses transforming light sword)
Girl with tentacle (which transforms in scythe stuff)

Guy with his octopus
Priest and a little girl… hey, she floats, not normal
Guy who’s married to some armor?? I mean, look at the posture in the pic

The first 3 pairings also seem also to be polar. From the pictures and the whole vibe I get from this whole thing. In some way, some of those chars feel pretty fucked up

Word on this game looking like shit. If this came out three years ago I wouldn’t give it much thought, but at the very least I was hoping that the quality would be similar to AH2.

Dusk looks pretty cool. Towering Spine! :wgrin:

The game looks great. Sprites look good… moves look hott. Here’s hoping for more info soon.

I’m liking Yui and Asuma (assuming he gots some sort of pilebunker). Hmm… I guess kuon looks pretty cool, too.
