So wish I could play Additional Gain right now but I have to settle with vanilla Daemon Bride…lord. Guess I could try pitching this to Degica Games when I meet with them next month at AWA.
So how is this game anyway? And how’s it doing now? I think I heard it got a pseudo squeal or a rebalance or something a year or two away from release but being a smaller and still arcade isolated game I had only found so much when looking before and now I have only taken interest again from it being a decent looking game that had a thread here on SRK.
i have limited experince with its vanilla version but mostly just examu attempt at projectile heavy game. unlike the Tohou 2d version or G-rev sonko series. Deamon bride still function more like traditional fighter that only lightly touches what each of the respective projectile heavy games do like projectile grazing and 8 way dashing.
the game had some scrutiny due to vanilla version glaring issue which additional gain address but little to late to pick up steam.
Still good post, Wratching High level videos of games like this is a delight. Its not like its impossible to play the game either. Well…“additional gain” will be financially taxing.
Well, seems like the arcade rip to Additional Gain has been posted. Sad thing is that it’s very unplayable in it’s current state due to not being able to change the controls. Bummer. <_<
whole Nesica arcade game list has been dumped from what I see. Most have console and PC ports, which I already have. Trying to run this on Windows is a gamble. But it is the only way to play Persona 4, Aquapazza and Nitroplus on PC…Plus the more accurate ports of Vampire Savior, SF Alpha 3 and Third Strike.
Finally I can start building a scene for this game! Sad they changed Dawn’s SPD to hcb,f though. Being able to just do it hcb made him a lot scarier punishing unsafe stuff.
EDIT: Seems like Dawn’s grab is still HCB, just that my controller was acting funny lol.
So far I’m liking Reizei, Dawn, and Shiffon as regulars. Rebellion seems to deal more raw damage but I like Reizei’s speed advantage and better assortment of Bride moves.
