I’ll start a pool on how long afterwards they decide to fuck you and everyone else with:
-: An update that costs $1,000 that barely changes anything.
-: Another update that costs half as much that changes everything.
-: Giving people on SRK a reason to come into this thread every other page days after its released in arcades in Japan only to ask "Any news of a console port? What are the tiers for this game? Can I get bnb’s for everyone?’
-: Making devildigimon think he’s actually doing something / contributing somehow.
I’m saving this post. It’s like you have supreme clairvoyance…
I’m betting that nearly everything you mentioned will happen, but I’m so hype for this game. I don’t care.
That shadow thing actually isn’t bad design for a shadow thing. Really. I don’t like him, but I can appreciate that they tried to do something interesting there. Seems like he stole some moves from MvC2 Venom, haha
The priest also looks cool, despite being more typical.
The “turtle friendly” thing worked in IaMP because it didn’t have a timer, which encouraged playing solid and consistent. When you add a timer to the equation it just means people are going to try and run it down, sadly.
Hmmm… Everything you guys seem to dislike about the game is what I find so appealling.
This the first game I’ve been hype for in ages.
We’ve had BlazBlue in UK arcades from about January, but I just don’t find it interesing.
I like the character deigns in this game, the movement, the zoning, everthing so far.
We will see what happens when the game comes out in Japan.
Not sure if you’ve seen these or not Skelter, but there are some videos on the DMB Examu page that havn’t been uploaded to NicoVideo. They have JEO as Shiffon. (here)
Yeah, I uploaded the matches you mentioned onto my YouTube account.
Was Jeo an Arcana Heart player, because I remember seeing his name on YouTube a few times?
Oh, and the game is out today!
Anyone who has any new info on the game (match videos, tournament dates, first hand experience, etc.).
Please post it here.
That would make sense as I did see him playing Mei-fang in the videos.
Anyway, HeartNana. Now that game is released fully, is there any chance of some more hands on information and maybe some match videos of you playing?
I would appreciate it.
Gave this a try at the arcade today. It’s kind of interesting.
3 attack buttons, weak and strong then a shoot button. Standard specials are executed with A and B while Bride specials are executed with shoot. Bride Specials require dash meter to use. It looks like you have one super but it has two different versions depending on what mode you are in. The engaging or whatever mode when you reach Max and release (all 3 attack buttons) increases your damage and gives access to the powered version of your super.
You can EX regular specials by hitting both buttons but it uses a bar of course. You can also dash in any direction. You can break out of combos by doing all 3 attack buttons (I think) during a combo but it uses up a stock on your Max meter in the upper left and puts your dash meter in the red momentarily.
Anyway, I don’t really have time to post soemthing detailed but I may when i have time.
