That’s why I am doing it at a range where the opponent has no reason to crouch block , and they will most likely stand block from that range else it’s just more frame advantage for you.

ryu can punish blocked arrow with crmp . crmp . st far mp . heavy shoryo … dunno howmuch damage it does though…

vs U2 I still personally prefer to use far hk for aa and to an extent stand hp (far, close when possible). crhp tends to get stuffed by jmk.

Best of 5 set between myself DeZMeister (Cammy) vs m000iee (Evil Ryu) on PC online.
He’s a fairly high ranked Evil Ryu player. I had some difficulties against against him.

Review:

good use of normals. especially st.hk. but you use it as a poke rather than a whiff punisher. i would love to see some crmk (buffer arrow) or far mp (buffer arrow). Sagat can get around far hk by using focus attack. remember far mp xx arrow to break sagats focus.

basically… crmk > sagat.

chip scam works on Sagat.round1 you used EXTKCS then crlk crlk. you could’ve chipped with EXTKCS xx Ultra. (true block string)
you need to get your confirms down into a special ender (spiral arrow) for the knockdown. many times you would hit with crlk but not confirm it into combo.
NEVER random arrow. unless you are 100% sure its spaced perfectly. its horribly punishable on block if you don’t space it properly. and punishable on whiff as well.
EX arrow should be used to discourage fireball spam. don’t do it on prediction. try to react to fireballs if you want to use EX arrow (pre buffering qcf helps a lot)
focus fireballs early on in the round build ultra-meter (2shots at a time then block recover grey life, repeat!). never allow sagat to bully you with fireballs. ultra1 > fireballs.
are you using hk strike after hk sa? your strike is too high. and you should use MK strike (force whiff TU). no quick stand jump again lk strike 50/50 crossup. (again force whiff TU).

the main issue that i see is that you just press buttons without confirming your strings into knockdowns. work on your anti air too. sagat should never jump on you.
