So what? Why should infiltration get to reserve the name just because he’s famous in the community? Name grabs are a free for all. Hold that L.
Oh so I am not supposed to call someone who does not play fair “trash”?..Wow I am very surprised by that kind of logic, but thanks a lot man for stating your opinion. I do have a video winning “Tool_Assisted.” But you know what? I am not gonna bother posting that video just to prove that I can call a hack user “trash.” I kinda regret why I even posted this thread, but at least now I know that “I” don’t meet the skill level to post a thread like this thanks to you. It has been such a new experience reading other people’s thoughts on this, I just did not expect that I would be the one to get attacked here…just wow…
p.s. - I forgot to mention that I did say “shame on ME losing”… I still don’t feel the need to erase the word “trash” though
So much salt. The bot has that name due to constantly getting matched against Infiltration in the beta, so he changed the name as it made them stop matching against each other. And Tool Assisted is a goddamn classic in the community. If botting becomes a big issue then sure, something will have to be done but right now it’s a fun little random encounter. Quit being a crybaby about it, the bot is very beatable.
alright man, thanks for explaining why the bot user got his name, so I am trying to delete my thread here (just don’t know how)
But I just cannot agree with you on your saying that “the bot is very beatable.”
Don’t make it sound like other honest not-so-skilled player will enjoy a match with any bot in a ranked match, which needs to be FAIR.
I agree with Hunter, having bots in the game devalues the community and makes every person you play suspect.
Man thanks for your comment, I thought I was the only one being some kinda insane guy…From now on I’ll just shut my mouth and enjoy the game I guess.
The problem with bots is not even how well they play, but how different they play. A bot is able to instantly react to any button press, where a player cannot. This changes the landscape of a fighting game a LOT, and in a bad way.
Ironically this is why I hate arcade mode and SF5 survival mode… The bots don’t play the same as players do, and it doesn’t teach anything about how to play.
I don’t know what can be done about tool_assisted. Many people may not care about it, but I wouldn’t want to run into a bot online :\ Bad enough I have to grind survival for colors lol.
His bot also seriously compromises the fight money and zeni aspect of how SFV is supposed to be monetized. You can literally gold farm with it which is an existential threat to Capcoms long term financial plans.
That depends… The business model for the game is not fully realized yet, as we still don’t know exactly what everything is going to cost. For all we know, Capcom won’t care of character unlocks are always free, and bots farm FM to unlock them. I’m fairly certain that costumes are going to be a Zeni only, and will be the primary sales focus of the game as it was with SF4.
tbh I really don’t care at all about the potential to farm free currency, as it does not have a direct effect on other players. The currency cannot be transferred / sold, and it does not effect the game.
