i’ve been free at the mirror match since AE. in super i rarely lost to other deejay players. in super you couldn’t just do shit because its safe. the match is stupid. as soon as i switched to cammy it was easier, even with the lag. i tried to AA with deejay and got CH or in most cases i would get block instead of upkicks.
will be streaming the tournament i’ll be playing in today (1/22/12)
don’t know who will be showing up. Dieminion will probably show up for the free money, but i’ll try to make it difficult for him. might even break out cammy for the matchup if i get too frustrated/blown up with deejay.
maybe marlin pie will play in both tournaments.
3rd >.<
Guile took 2nd and 1st lol
fuck that character. i need to prepare a counterpick.
cheating with cammy sir? =D
i should have at least tried my cammy. oh well.
new demand.
old lk sobat that is -3 so we can brainlessly pressure guile and other characters.
-3 on block? And by old lk you mean airborne? Man that’d be sweet. I have so much trouble in the Guile matchup.
i’m just not patient enough for the guile matchup anymore. and yes -3 on block. let me stop now because i’m just going to ask for ST deejay
Hey just wondering guys, what options are there after a MK upkick and only the second one hits? I know you can do a standing HK after, but is it possible to ultra or any other attacks? Thanks
ST DeeJay, with kneeshot. Thank you.
ST kneeshot crossed up more easily.
I’m having troubles doing tech throws. I always loose them. Dee Jay his throw range is worst from the entire cast. How to anticipate? People think I tech throw too fast, but I want to know from my fellow Dee Jay players.
Tech throwing is a personal thing. I usually late tech throw because i wait for the delay some people like to put in their tick throws. Some people mash it, but i really prefer not to and I usually don’t OS tech throw. Online, it’s a bit harder to do it on reaction though, so I guess it’s practice…
Remember that crouch techs have to come out slightly later than standing tech throws. It’s difficult to say when you should tech throws, but in my experience, mediocre to decent players like to try tick throwing in the middle of blockstrings, immediately after a jump-in attack, or on an empty jump. Some people also like to throw on wakeup (your wakeup, not theirs). These are some common times you should be looking to tech.
Although it’s less advisable, remember that backdashing, jumping and upkicks also beat throw attempts.
I’ve been learning Deejay for the past week ever since matches with uh… uh… Jcool.
How exactly am I supposed to do LP/MP/HP Machine Gun Upper (MGU)?
Do I need a rhythm? Need to feel da beat? Is there a certain amount of times I have to press it before a certain window?
Sometimes I get full hits, sometimes I get none.
idk i just mash it. not as fast as possible because that’s an unnecessary amount of force, but not too slow because i need the damage.
no rhythm necessary unless you’re trying to become a real deejay player lol
why deejay? if you don’t mind me asking.
I play everyone but anyone a rapid fire type move like Honda/Chun/Gen/ect, and dive kicks
Relearning Deejay because I like finishing rounds with backthrow > lp maxout > “Come on!” taunt
trying my hand at melty blood.
i’ll be on the boards, but no research. should take some clips from the 34 set, shame i lost so many games by playing another endless set with random players.
I want to see your approach because I keep getting my ass kicked
he bodied me too, but by the end of the set it was mutual.
i always say the best way to show you know a matchup is to get a perfect or a stun.
We both did that, so it didn’t take me long to learn. I honestly forgot the set so it should be fun to rewatch and commentate.
I would want to say it was even, but I would definitely give the advantage to 34 and his dudley. not by much i held my own after i got the match down (somewhat).
i’ll try to do it by sunday the latest. saturday night the earliest.
