Some guy was beating me with Blanka and i caught on by round 2 and started punishing him, by round 3 i had him totally sussed (He used to beat me before) and i did the nasty taunt 9, sorry, i love to taunt and I take it on the chin when people taunt me. I do it to make people mad so they make mistakes… this guy rage quit though and disconnected from LIVE.

what did you do to beat Dieminion?
i found my own way, but want to know if i overlooked something in the matchup.
I’ve played dieminion in several pretty long sets and I’ve never come out on top in the final score. I think i got to 5 before him once and won the first 2/3 a couple times but never end up with more wins in the end. Guile is one of deejays hardest 2 matches in the game, really lopsided match. Youve got to have the patience of a saint matching fireballs or walking up blocking fireballs, and try not to let him switch sides on you once he gets cornered. Then when you get the knockdown with slide under fireball or throw/combo you have to make him pay and hold that lead. Dieminion likes to stand tech and backdash vs me so using low shorts or option select c.lp to s.hk vs backdash can get me free damage. But it’s a bad matchup, youre gonna have to outplay him or hit him with jumpins.
he did stand tech a lot. i had everything else though. i was trying to out fireball him then said fuck it after losing so much. started walking forward and the match seemed easier. super seems useful.
Dieminion has beaten me more times than I beat him. The problem is Guile normals, not the fireballs. I take my time getting in because DJ meter gain is much better than Guile. Also sliding under fireballs messes up Guiles charge timing and it helps me to advance foward without losing charge. I like to get to a certain sweetspot (2 spots) where he has to respect the knee, j.mk and empty jump. These are the only 2 places where Guile has to guess which AA to use. If he guess wrong then it’s vortex time. But I hate that certain ambiguous crossups/noncrossups don’t work because Guile can get away with blocking in any direction. The positive thing is, maybe DJ has unblockable potential against Guile but I haven’t figured out how to set it up (on a side not, unblockables against Dhalsim is possible. Forgot to post that up but I don’t have a consistant way to set it up.)
I still think that Guile, Rose, and Fei Long is DJ’s worse matchups.
