Kurokiba didnt know how to fight rufus AT ALL. he let so many jumps through. i was mad.

Does anyone have any pointers on how to deal with a Dictator once he has gotten close? I’m having a hell of a time finding a way to get out of LK scissors pressure loops.

The same goes with Boxer, once he gets in and starts bullying me it is nearly impossible to get out unless he throws out a sweep. What is the move of choice against a blocked straight dash.

in AE:
st.mk is your friend after blocked scissor kicks. after a couple of LK scissors, hes out of range for c.LK.
in Super:
your kinda screwed. he stays close, you gotta trade with sometime like st.mk or cr.lp and then get away.

Boxer, just block, look for throws, you can:
upkick through the gaps in his stagger jabbing
block a point blank dash punch, and punish with st.lp

We don’t need people crying. “OMG DJ is cheap, he has an infinite!!!”

technically he already does. lol or at least did in super. in the corner:
(cl.lk, lp Air slasher, cl.lp) x N
its full of 1-frame links and charging. Ive only gotten like 3 reps at most. you stay in close range due to cl.lk moving you forward when you cancel it.

IIRC MGU is not decided that way. MGU is decided if you press the button twice, or once during the startup.

EX MGU is the way you described. Not the normal ones.

Try going in training mode and getting the mashed normal mgu with just pressing twice or mashing a single button

Congrats. I think I’m playing in 2 tournaments this week. Saturday fo sho. And yes St.Fp hitbox is different. I use that as a frame trap against late crouch techs. Sometimes it launches the opponent. We need to see these new hitboxes. Especialy the far st.mk. It even stuffs Guile normals.

nice and the guys who plays the twins had father’s day plans. next sunday should be a better test of my skills. i went undefeated. The only person who could beat me that goes was/is damdai, my boy mannyO, and T3. if they don’t show i’m going to win everytime.

im a pc player, about to grab ae when it hits for pc. gonna pick up deejay, i normaly play rose/guile. was wondering should i be playing deejay like guile? is he more able to do mixups/crossups ? how are his normals compared to roses/guiles.

deejay is a fundamentals character and should be played as such. Guile is a turtle and idk what people classify rose as. you have to play the match and not the character. Guile is simple. Walk back and throw SB in short. DeeJay can do that, but when he gets a hardknockdown he turns it up with a nice crossup mixup. No two deejays are the same.

How often do you guys get messages or get kicked out of lobbies because of your Deejay being “annoying”? That junk pisses me off. Especially if the other person is actually decent or if I actually LOST the last match and get kicked 'cause of it. wtf.

Got hate mail saying boring deejay is boring and things of that nature. I’m not going to rush down characters who are good upclose. I’ve been kicked for winning. Kicked for losing. I’ve gotten hatemail for losing. I’ve been told my name suits me for not knowing how to fight seth. I have played 3 seths online. And have only played one in a long set.
