i still wouldn’t recommend deejay to anybody.
they are patching defensive holes, but it’s not like guile where once your opponent gets in your can fight your way out with buttons and pokes or a well timed flash kick.
also i believe rose can win all her matches. she controls a lot of space and gets to almost pick where she’s at on screen better than any character. the buffs are coming, which i cannot agree with, and you should just work on your weaknesses.

I would recommend Deejay as a basic character to learn to block and tech properly. Maining him made learning how to play other characters very very easy. No other character has to defend the way we do Kappa.

look at it like this. He had the one moment to shine, but Sako has won more than one japanese tournament with Evil Ryu and he’s getting buffed. Oni is on the rise and it getting buffed. Hakan getting buffed and that character is not bad. Doesn’t make sense that deejay is getting left behind like there is nothing wrong with the character.
my capcom unity post is on page 11 of the ultra thread. it’s a long post, but there is so much ignorance surrounding deejay, but unlike Hakan and the other secretly amazing characters it doesn’t work in our favor as well because he is straight forward. no real good gimmicks or tricks.

A lot… In the end no buffs unless you wanna include that cr.HP. Vega still ended up being nerfed somehow.
