old people can’t vote these days because voting is computerized
I would respond to Obama calling gamers lazy but I’d rather go play some Mario 3.

yeah but obama is winning white votes, in white states, over the white candidate.
Mostly the white female candidate that is rather controversial anyway… and a middling challenge from Edwards who never really got traction, if you want to count that. And this is for a primary, something that is seen as essentially “not what really counts” by Joe Average and also is not participated in nearly as much so as the general election.
I think if you end up seeing Obama vs. McCain, and people get behind that curtain to vote for POTUS, all bets are off. You can read whatever you like into exit and phone polling where many whites might not want to come across as non-progressive and un-PC, but you won’t see what’s really good until everybody gets their private and personal vote.

Who is going to watch the debate tonight?

Finally, somebody posted that. I was listening to this on the radio, and they played this and cmon. You can’t deny that Obama ripped it off.
As for the debate…I’m probably not going to watch it. I recognize it for what it is. Hillary trying to keep her name in the press’ mouths so they don’t keep on focusing on how Hillary has been getting romped in recent weeks. I’m surprised the Obama crew actually let him participate.
Well, I decided to forego my Good Eats re-runs, and watch the debates. And wow, I must say that Obama is playing to the lowest common denominator like American Idol. Honestly, he hasn’t said anything yet that hasn’t been stupid, naive and contradictory.
Edit: And Hillary is making me laugh more than a good episode of Family Guy with her “economic” policies.
Looks like you share a lot in common with him! Perhaps you will vote for him in the up coming elections?
While the humorous sarcasm of your post is not lost, I’m not ruling out voting for Obama.
Yeah but if you guys watched the interview on CNN you’d know him and Patrick are close friends and agreed on talking about those same points. So its not like he just stole his words. They both discussed this themselves. On top of that its not like this is going to put a noticeable dent in Obama’s campaign.
He’s clearly gripping the armrest of his chair like that so he doesn’t instinctively dish out the Pimp Hand of Great Justice ™.
And if you’d actually lived in Massachusetts, you’d know just how dramatically overblown any sort of actual relationship is between Patrick and Obama.
And no. He plagiarised him, straight up. You can’t deny it. The real question is “does it really matter?” Which is subjective.
yeah i watched this debate and it seemed like Clinton really was trying to focus on that whole “Obama speech plagiarism”.
Lamewadd: See thats just ignorance that makes you think he plagiarized when Obama clearly stated that he was allowed to borrow the material. People are blowing that whole situation out of control.
This issue is irrelevant because the timing of Hillary’s accusation was horrendeous, not because Obama is necessarily innocent.
John McCain is dead meat if Obama gets the nomination. I hope Obama has top notch security.
I think McCain is praying to the Gods that Hillary wins otherwise its checkmate for him.
I don’t think you realize how much of a sin plagiarism is. Joe Biden lost the Democratic nomination almost entirely because of the fact that he was caught plagiarizing. Obama’s getting away with it because the Patrick 2010 campaign suddenly doubled its fundraising numbers for totally unrelated reasons. It’s comical that YOU would call ME ignorant when I actually knew who Deval Patrick was before his speech got ganked, when I know more about him, when I am the one whose heard his speeches when he made them, when I’m the one who actually knows about the relationship between the two and when I’m the one who actually follows this. Obama plagiarized. Period. You can’t deny it and you can’t say “lol, you ignint!” I really don’t care that Obama stole Deval Patrick’s speech. It’s not going to keep me from voting for him, if I choose to. But I’m not going to be stupid and say he didn’t do it.
And you’re all grossly underestimating McCain’s clout. And you all clearly didn’t watch the debate last night if you think Obama is actually in a better position to win today than yesterday. Obama said some painfully stupid shit yesterday that will come back to pull his pelvis out (which is worse than getting bitten in the ass) come general election time.
