This is dead on, and ties directly into Havoc’s comment about Blacks and a religion forced on them.

Hav: My apologies. I thought you were cosigning the White LGBT community that’s pinning Black people as the fault for the legislation passing, because there are TONS of them.

I agree with you on the hypocrisy, but your cries for justice is an attempt to summon altruism that people in America in general (not just Black people) simply don’t have.

Yeah that’s exactly what I meant. Now who’s taking things out of proportion?

Fact is there are far worse things to invest in than helping people get a better education. Does this mean paying everyone’s way completely? No. But if the government gives help to students it tells you what the governments priorities are.

The government always tells society what it wants to encourage by the way it taxes and spends money. The government thinks cigarettes and alcohol are bad, and that’s why they cost what they do now. They also think families and children are good, which is why they get a tax break. If we can encourage families to have kids the very LEAST we can do is give them an incentive to send them to school.

If you want to take away the incentives to have kids and college education, fine, but no politician is going to be in favor of taking away money from kids. Taking money away from college students? Sure. That’s in line with the republican view. As George Carlin famously put it, “When you’re unborn they care about you, once you’re born… fuck you!”

As long as we’re encouraging people to plop out more kids we might as well encourage them to get educated. Lord knows we need less Palin supporters in the world.

You were doing great until right there.

You shouldn’t try to make a partisan issue of something like this.

I could sure use some money. I don’t want to owe the bank over 100k just because I want to educate myself. Businesses are already benefiting from current government antics. Oh, and my mother is almost that woman, except for the fact that she has college education; she just doesn’t get paid enough. So, I’m almost one of those three kids, except one of them left, and I’m going to college as well as my two brothers. So why is it better to hand out money to businesses or use it on the gigantic military budget rather than giving it to students?

The whole idea of supporting students choice to educate themselves revolves around the variable of whether they can actually afford it or not. For many, money decided what college they would actually attend. It’s sad. Additionally, we need more intelligent people in this country.

It’s not about partisinship at this point really; it’s an intelligence issue, hence why he didn’t say “McCain supporters.”

If you stretch back far enough you’ll find that marriage stems from property-rights, not religion.

I genuinely believe that Sarah Palin is smart. The media just lept all over her, calling her an idiot from the start, to cut down any possible dissent from Hillary supporters to McCain. I also don’t believe all the stories about her not knowing Africa is a continent and whatnot. Palin is a relatively well-received politician. It’s just that the internet hates her.

lol are you fucking serious

Don’t feed spudly. 3/4 of his posts seem troll-like to me. And this is coming from a Ron Paul supporter.

I don’t consider mutual agreement as a marriage relationship. I said before, monogamy relationships has always been a natural thing, but the idea of “marriage” was a religious idea.

Also, I believe Sarah Palin is smart. She was a small fish in a big pond. Give her time and she’ll be well acclimated as a cunning, beguile politician like the rest of them.

Even if you don’t believe the recent accusations out of the McCain camp there are many documented (i.e. video taped) instances of her idiocy. There is video of her showing her complete lack of knowledge on what the Bush doctrine is, and not to mention the infamous Katie Couric interview where she could not name a single newspaper. She’s Archie Comic Moose stupid, which just goes to show how Alaskan rednecks really are what they eat.

What about her not knowing what the vice president does, and then even if that was somehow forgivable she much later got that question wrong AGAIN. Thinking she would lead the senate in making legislation. There are literally a million of em’

Her stupidity is simply put: indisputable.

And I’m telling you, you’re wrong.

Coincidence? I think not.

About whether monogamy is natural? Because he sure is wrong about that. Dudes getting socialization confused with nature all over the place in here.

Oh man spudly, you got me.

No, he’s wrong about marriage starting from religion. Every source I’ve read on the subject is pretty clear about us starting marriage as a way to share property. It was not originally a way to unionize under a god.

Damn! Do I have egg on my face or do I have egg on my face?

Well, if it were a competent woman, perhaps you’d have been right.

I think a lot of us felt that way. Thankfully she was a dolt and didn’t have the brainpower to answer a question in a straightforward manner.

Hell yeah.

America has some of the best colleges in the world(if not the best), and yet so few US citizens can attend them because they simply can’t afford to.

We have the government spending truckloads of money every year on guns, tanks, planes, ships, bombs, and wars, but people seem so opposed to it being spent on making sure everyone can get and education or have adequate health care.

Why is it that we can find money to kill people, but we can’t find money to help people?

^In America you help yourself. At least that’s the feeling I always got.
