the argument was whether or not HUMANS could judge others. someone argued that only god can judge others, it says so in the bible.

i just showed a verse where a HUMAN judged others.

Man of God does not equal God. Just a man who preaches in God’s name. You see the problem lies in how you look at His word. You look at it as a contradiction. I look at it as a man of God who disobeyed his word. I guess you think that Catholic priest who molested young boys is God as well. Yeah I know that sounds stupid, but what is stupid is someone quoting the bible who doesn’t understand or believes in it.

I’m not trying to push my religion on others. If you don’t believe in any religion that’s your decision. I’m just tired of people bashing religious beliefs. It’s the equivalent to a bible thumper trying to push their religion on the unwilling.

the same guy who says he’s passed judgement then says its wrong to pass judgement. this is called a CONTRADICTION.

the whole point i’m making is that people pick and choose what they want to believe from the bible. they adopt their religion to their morality, not the other way around. because the bible is written by so many different people, and then slapped together, its possible to do this. this is why two christians can disagree on a whole host of moral issues, because there is no clear moral standard from some god, and especially not because there are any morals from the bible (anyone whose read the OT can see this clearly)

That only works in a sitcom like The Odd Couple, where two people who are so different and hate each other can learn to find their common ground, resulting in a heartwarming resolution of acceptance, tolerance, and companionship for the rest of their lives.

But that would suck, so it should be an action show where they try to kill each other. Ratings would be huge.
